Daily Positive Thread for Tuesday

Greetings to you all on this snowing day!

Another six inches of snow fell here today - we didn't expect that much, but all the snowblowers were out working hard!! But on the positive side - warmer weather is coming soon! And I sure hope some snow melts. The roads are good - with the plows out and salt etc. to make them safe, so that's a good thing too. Some good news here is that Linus has two appointments this week to sell Lighthouse to two parishes, hope they want them, and a new prospective Account Manager to be under him and we'll meet her on Friday afternoon in our town here so won't have to travel far for that one. Friday Lori leaves for Texas for her birthday to spend with her sister. She comes back late Tuesday night. We take care of Ollie who thinks this is home anyway and loves it here! Please pray for a safe trip and safety for all on the roads - thank you!

Jesus is the greatest giver of happiness that anyone has ever known.

Take Him into your heart. Lord, Your presence in my life brings me

great joy.

Meditation for the day:

"Ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." God has

unlimited power. There is no limit to what God's power can do in

human hearts. We can will to have God's power and we can ask God for

it. God's power can be blocked by our indifference to it. We can go

along our own selfish way without calling on God's help, and we

receive no power. But when we trust in God, we can will to have the

power we need. When we sincerely ask God for it, we can receive it

abundantly.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may will to have God's power. I pray that I may keep

praying for the strength I need.

Dear Lord,

Our relationship with you is usually like this:

Just another day for me - plenty of things to do

Go to work, come home late, nothing really new

But before I had the chance to phone I received an incoming call

I had to look twice at the Caller ID to see if I was sure

That’s the reason why he called me today - I guess we all do the same

Its only when we need something that we look to find their name

That’s the relationship we have with God - sad but it is true

We have to change the way we think - a message for me and you.

Blessings on this snowy day. We got 4 to 5 inches last night. No snow plows have touched this road. I'm going to call the mayors office in a minute. It is 31 out and I hope it goes higher and melts some snow.

My COPD is better because I have been staying inside. I just finished making a pot of homemade chicken soup with noddles.

Counting my blessings. Spring will be here March 20th, I think. Have a good day and God's blessings on those who read and post.

Hello Bobbiesue!! Your chicken soup with noodles sounds delicious!!! I'm glad your COPD is better - and hope it stays better too. I have some good news to share. Linus finally got called for the appliance job and has an interview there at 3 PM. Praise the Lord for answered prayer!

Hello everyone,

Gloriajean, I just said a prayer for Linus. That sure is good new! I will keep Lori, in my prayers as she travels to visit Darla this week and on her return trip home next Tuesday. Prayers for safety on the roads.

Bobbisue, sure hope they get your road plow. Also glad to hear that your COPD is better. Stay safe and be careful. Enjoy that hearty Chicken Noodle Soup...mmmm it sounds so good!

Our temp right now is at 60. Unbelieveable, but I'll take it. I wish I could send you all some warmer weather...but as we all know I am not in charge of the weather. My blessing just feeling the warm sun on my face. Keeping all in my prayers. Thank you for yours!

Oh another blessing...I got to see two people yesterday that I haven't seen in along time. It was such a joy to talk to them.
