I want a piece of chocolate so much, and the only chocolate I have is a big unopened bag of Hershey's Miniatures that I bought for my college aged son.

He will probably be here later today on his way to work and I am wanted to give them to him for Valentine's Day.

Do the Right Thing Parenting is so difficult some days.

If you have a cute little bowl or basket, you could put them in that and he might not notice one or two missing.

LOL, nice idea. The problem with that for me is that I couldn't just eat one or two. Once I start, that' it for me.

Maybe the OP is more disciplined than I would be. Chocolate and peanut butter are my downfall.

Do what I've done-open the bag, put the majority in a decorated zip bag and he won't know the difference!

You take a magic marker, draw hearts all over the baggie, write Happy Valentine's Day, Love Mom and call it a win-win!

hummm, now you all have me thinking....

I can't get to the store, snowing, I don't "do" snow-- but I did think of a ziplock bag-- thought that would be obvious to him.

Did you ever just get such a craving that you curse yourself for not buying any junk food for yourself - trying to be good?

When he stops by, say, "Son? I didn't know I had a son!" Then you can justify the chocolate all over your face as you pop the last delicious piece into your mouth.

All the time. I'll buy candy for Mr. kdgn, the ones he really enjoys and I don't like, then kick myself for not getting at least one bag of something I'll eat.

Why did I buy that bag of coconut candy when I dislike coconut so much? A bag of M&Ms would have been a nice compromise..............
