The Cardinal's General Manager, Mike Matheny, has arrived in Florida. Not long now and the players will be showing up for spring training.

Can hardly wait......

Hi fluffy,

I can't wait either! Yankees acquired some new players. I'm anxious to see how they fit in and what they can contribute. October is my favorite month, especially when the Yankees are in the playoffs.

Yankees open spring training this weekend.

I'm going to Red Sox training camp at the end of March...I'm sure the Yankees will give them a run for first place this year!

I have pulled up the game schedule for the Cardinals and have saved it in my favorites. Do this every year. That way I don't miss any of the games. And I'm all set to go......

I am concerned about the Cardinals this year....so many changes and different players. And, we have lost some of our good players.....we'll just have to wait to see how they do during spring training and the games they play during this time.

I do have individual threads.....not for every game......throughout the season, and hopefully you can join in on them. The more the merrier.....we do have fun on them.

The closer we get to the end of the season, the more exciting it gets. And the more nervous I get......LOL

Yes, I too am wishing Good Luck to everyone's team.......even if they are rivals to the Cardinals.

Are you concerned about the Cardinals this year too????

As you know, with the weather we've had here and snow still on the ground, you would never know it is getting to be that time of the year. Boy, what a winter we've had here. My car is still covered in snow, and I can't get out there because of the snow around it. Don't want to fall. But hopefully with the warm up we are supposed to be having in the next few days, I will be able to get out there and get my car cleaned off.

I saw a clip on the news. I didn't realize that Truck Day was turning into such a big holiday in Boston! People were partying in the cold and having a great time watching them pack up the trucks and finally get on their way.

I'm psyched that baseball season is finally beginning. Even though Opening Day won't be until early April, at least we can catch some spring training games and keep up with the latest news in the world of baseball.
