This is dumb, but here I sit. Husband is napping on the couch before the Super Bowl game. Dog is sleeping at my feet. I'm sitting in my recliner on my Ipad. We just ate chicken wings and had a few beers. I'll be getting up soon to make chili. Sometimes I just look around and think "All is good." I hope others find contentment every now and then. Tomorrow is a whole new can of worms. Lol

It's so important to appreciate these kinds of days, sundrops. Sometimes all really is good! As long as we know it can all change in an instant, so we should enjoy it while we can. Conversely.....when things aren't going so well, it helps to remember that the bad times won't last forever either.

I'm glad you like my nic. Sundrops are a yellow perennial flower. My mom had some and dug some up, and we transplanted them by my front lamppost. Not my favorite, but nice. Bloom in June-July.

I had that same feeling yesterday, I know exactly what you mean. Our daughter came by to watch the game with us, put out munchies and we were all nice and cozy under some throws and the dog on hubbys lap. All safe and sound and full. These are the moments I treasure. It's the simple things that make me happy.
