If you feel that taking down a post is inappropriate then I would expect you to take down ALL of the ones that bash Shawn, Jane T, Jennifer K and her looks about her weight and lastly anything related to 9/11since we all know that is very political. And if you feel the need to remove because I am "talking back" to someone that I have never met, talked to, etc....so be it.

@SharkE you got your way! Hope you're happy! Enjoy your book that comes out next week!

And don't forget the bashing of Kerstin and Jennifer C posts and comments. Just like the new one about Kerstin today!

Nothing on these boards should be taken so seriously. Threads are deleted all the time. These forums are not worth all the stress you have demonstrated.

Of all the items you listed as " Political, " 9/11 is most certainly NOT. This country was attacked and thousands of lives died that day. Thousands more continue to die from helping others and clearing the contaminated remnants. And then there are the families and friends who lost their loved ones.

In your rant, be careful of what you cite. If you have stress issues, seek help. Your post should be taken down. Chill.

I totally agree with you @lgfan. It's the Q's board and their rules. And as you point out so well, it's just a discussion forum so I don't understand anyone getting so upset over deleted posts/threads. I've had posts deleted where I had not a clue why. I had a post that actually complimented a host and poof! Didn't bother me a bit. As I said before, their board their rules. And I believe challenging moderation is breaking the rules?

It's disappointing when interesting posts with a lot of participation disappear. For that reason, I'm hesitant to post. I find it an insult to those who have given thought and their time to participate.

Interesting how we're all different as I don't feel that way at all. Thought and time? It's posting an opinion on a msg board not a thesis. That's something I've seen posted before that always baffles me. "Posters research and take time to post." Huh? How much time does it really take? Guess I don't take it that seriously.

ETA: And why would that make you "hesitant to post"? All threads lose steam and some go on and on too long and are eventually poofed due to becoming argumentive. I say post what and whenever you want.

I agree with you. This is a message board not Encyclopedia Britannica. If I want facts I have other options. I also don't take it seriously either.

something must have happened between this morning,and 4pm. California time. I am a little disappointed the Sarah Fergies thread was taken down, what happened?? Gosh, it was pages long and pretty decent, civil conversation. I enjoy those kinds of threads that have varying opinions, but it's all civil. Made for good conversation. Someone must have come in and turned it political...darn!

@shoekitty Most all posts relating to anyone in RF get poofed, almost always because H&M get inserted into the discussion which always turns it argumentive. But again, IMO post what you want and if it gets deleted it's not the end of the world and something to be angry about.
