Their hours are terrible.

My face would always tell you the truth about what I think about a product, regardless of what prepared words would come out of my mouth. So I would get fired anyway😉

Just forget it if I had to listen to someone's live call, read a textimonial or put up with this stupid iPad live chat interaction with a customer.🙄

And I am most certainly not into being a content creator on top of the regular on air shift.

No way. I can't talk about a product for an whole hour and throw a few lies in I top of it. I wouldn't like the hours. And constantly being judged by viewers on my looks, size hair, finger nails, eating food on air etc. would be a bit much. They say the hosts don't read these boards but I truly find that hard to believe.

I think I would love the on air part but not the hours!

When I was a young mother and got to stay home for a few years, I was an Avon lady and I would tell my customers oh don't get that! when I thought something wasn't that great.

So maybe I wouldn't last very long with the management lol!

Don't wanna "work for the man" in a big corp. either, ever again.

That said...a sales rep for a brand, maybe. More flexible, and I could do that job. Actually was offered that type thing back when I was doing the "buying" end...timing, place, Covid...didn't work out. Been in sales, buying, merchandising, retail...retired now...and like certain aspects of it. Loved buying/merchandising (but for small boutiques) best.

No. Very demanding job. You have to look good every shift, do a lot of prep, talk for hours and keep your mind fixed on what you are doing and saying. Listen to people in your ear AND talk and do demos. Be there and be happy seemingly whether you feel it or not.

I don't worry about "not telling the truth" because someone loves everything they sell enough to buy one. So a lot of it isn't something I would buy. You would buy it! It's worth something to someone. But it is really a difficult job, all said and done. I'd want a job behind the scenes.

No - too many commenting about my appearance. I’m not good at selling anything even Girl Scout cookies. I always had a fear of public speaking but got over it in the business world but I don’t think I could do TV with a huge audience.
