For a pant inseam, 1 inch doesn't seem right. I think the sleeve length variance can be more like this? I often give up and get a regular top in an elbow length sleeve when I just can't cope anymore.

Susan Graver even says petites are for 5'4" and under.

Where does that put a petite 5' tall?

Peace Love World makes her petites 28" inseam, and she says she likes them dragging the floor. And Amy and Courtney and some hosts are always wearing heels, so they don't drag on the ground.

What's bad is when they tell short gals to buy regular and just hike them up at the waist. No thank you!

"Petite" doesn't mean just mean the length on something. The entire garment is is adjusted, like the rise of a pair of pants or jeans, the length of sleeves, a shirt from shoulder to hem.

I am 5'1" plus 1/2" . I have messaged QVC many times about the newest sizing, petites are now for 5'3 to 5'5". I find it frustrating to shop for tshirts by any vendor. 27" is just too long. Yesterday Amy did a center tuck with a sweater that she really was too short to wear. It looked terrible. I don't know if it was labeled petite or misses. I look through the items offered but rarely buy clothes at QVC. There are several stores that still carry clothes for petites no matter what their weight and that's where I shop. I am 116 pounds, not heavy nor slim. My petite size is a small or a medium, pants are a 4 or 6.
I miss the days when I could shop at QVC.
