Many years ago I bought some QVC stock before leaving for a long-term overseas trip to do some volunteer work. I paid for my round trip ticket. When I retuned, during a long and unexpected layover in Canada (due to weather issues), I casually picked up an issue of the Wall Street Journal which had been left on the airport terminal seat next to me. OMG -- my QVC stock had risen so much in my absence that it actually paid for my flight. Things at the Q have greatly changed over the years.

Seriously? A net loss of 3.69 BILLION?
I am no business expert, but how do you get to that number and there was no intervention to turn it around ?? That is crazy and certainly doesn't look good for the future-

Tomorrow there's a TSV of a lab-created diamond necklace costing approx $1,000. It's not Christmas, Valentine's Day or Mother's Day yet- I don't get the timing of this TSV. Who is the brains behind these decisions, I wonder?

This is so sad that I want to sit and cry. I watched QVC grow to become the biggest and the best, I still go to them to find a product but it is no longer my first stop. If you want to gain some insight watch a You Tube video "The Downfall of QVC & What Went Wrong" by Sammi Tannor Cohen, our broker sent it to us a couple of weeks ago. To so many people QVC is more than a shopping channel, they are friends that many love and consider family, I don't want them to fail.

I will be so sad if QVC / HSN are gone- I found them when I had my infant son (1994), my husband traveled a lot and they have been company and convenient shopping experience ever since then! And I've been posting here since ohhhh year 2000! That's a long time- My nick was PooScoo a long time ago, after my poodle named Scooter! 🤣. But its so hard to believe the poor business practices that have brought them to this point! How avoidable... Hope it can be saved somehow.
