Wedding gift

I know I asked this before but it was a differnt friend and a differnt situation. My oldest friends daughter is getting married Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. I have known the brides Mom for over 60 years and her late dad for more than 40 years.

I will like to give something in mutiple of 18 which in the Jewish religion is good luck.

I am thinking $360 which is 20 time 18 or 20 time chai. Actually just thinking out loud Thank you all

@I am still oxox I think that would be generous and a wonderful choice of gift. I always think cash is best. The amount is perfect. 18 times chai, I would go with that

@I am still oxox I always add $18 to any amount I give.

That is a lot of money for a gift! If you're financially comfortable doing that, then you should do whatever you genuinely want to do.

Oh happy to hear you have a dress so you don't have to go through that. And that's too bad it wasn't a good feeling posting your dress choices and picks.

It was fun to see a side of you that at least I didn't notice before. Thought you had some great choices and that's not easy to do online.

I'm not Jewish, but I like this idea @spabar . Maybe give 318.00 instead.

Congratulations! I am also Jewish but I never heard of the " x 18 " being lucky- I would add it somehow into the card so they know (?) It's a generous gift! My son is engaged and it will be a Jewish wedding too, too so I will keep this in mind! Happy Passover. Best wishes- 💝

@happilyretiredgirl Thank you I will be wearing the last one I bought It wold be considered a cocktail dress, It is black with flutter sleeves with pearls and sparkles on the bottom. I will probably wear my moms pearls and pearl drop earrings.
