Amazon customer service down?

I have tried calling a few times to talk to customer service about a return I made. Never have encountered the phone service being down.

i wouldnt be surprised.......especially with what happened today.

i could not get my alexa devices to work earlier.

Amazon had a massive outage of their servers (and their hosting services are used throughout many industries and companies). It's been in the news. It impacted one of the vendor services I use at work. The checkout guy at Publix tonight told me it impacted their customer info. They will have everything up soon....try to be patient.

Amazon website works fine. I just returned an item.

@bargainsgirl Yes it was when I checked too. But after that I called their phone CS because I couldn't solve issue on their website. But yes. Websight was up when I checked before trying to reach their phone.

Oh my. It is remarkable to me how one computer glitch can take down sites in the whole world. Kinda scary.

Not sure what time they went down. I talked to Amazon customer service today 12 o'clock noon pst. No problem at all.

It only impacted certain services and specific aspects of some sites.

And some sites were back early, others took longer, which is why some may have been fixed and other people may have had to wait a while longer.

My Alexa went out on me for several hours.

A library ebook wouldn't show up on my husband's new Kindle during that same time period 🤷‍♀️
