to 50 months in prison. He's already been in jail for a year so will probably get out in 3 years and then 5 years of supervised release.

I'm surprised no one posted earlier unless it was zapped.

IMO, he should be imprisoned for a lot longer.

I was also disappointed in the length of the sentence.

He had great remarks for the judge, saying how sorry he was, etc. Someone wrote him a great little apology.

I don't believe anything he said.

I just read that he thought he'd be released and had already scheduled a couple of speaking engagements in Miami next week!

Prosecutors called that "the height of hubris".

what a pathetic sentence. if it was anyone else, it would’ve been harsher. and all his theatrics in court after the sentence was handed down, just shows he was playing the pity me card. what a phony. his victims didn’t get justice imo.

His sentence was similar or more than others convicted of the same crimes. He was found not guilty of the crimes that would have had longer sentences. Blame the jury not the judge.

So what exactly was he sentenced for? Did the awful video of him beating that woman in the hallway have any consequences at all? Or was that a freeby?That alone should have gotten him many more years--what a dirtbag!!! and what is the message that he sending to all his kids??? Am sure they have been brainwashed and blind to his real personality---DIRTBAG!!!!!

As bad as it was that Diddy booked speaking engagements...who wants him to come speak?! What organization wants him out of all celebrities to chose from?

The sentence seems to be appropriate for the crime (violation of the Mann Act) that received guilty verdicts.

Although many want to, one can't be sentenced for crimes that didn't receive a jury guilty verdict.

The sentence handed down will be reduced by time served and could be further shortened by a record of good behavior.

It's outrageous that brutality and violence against women isn't taken more seriously in our judicial system and in our culture, generally.

I thought sure he would get ten years, one year served. Another year and he'll be out going back to his flamboyant lifestyle. He has no regrets.

I’m not here to debate whether the sentence was fair. That is up to our legal system. What happened was violent, and wrong.

But I also believe the women entered the space willingly, consented initially, took the drugs, and participated in the setup. That doesn’t erase their victimhood.

What happened to these women is a cautionary tale, not because they were to blame, but because the setup was familiar: power, drugs, blurred consent. Future victims can learn from this.
