DO YOU PLAY GAMES ON YOUR CELL PHONE?

Thinking back, I remember a co-worker who was "addicted" to the Candy Crush game. I never tried it, but I recall many really liked that game.

Fast forward to the present and my sister mentioned she likes word games and hopes it keeps her brain cells active in different ways.

I've since noticed word games, matching games, Mahjong and many others. I've played a few word games and found a couple that I like and help to "shift gears" mentally. Supposedly, they are good for us.

So ...... do you play any games on your cell phone?

If so, what do you like?

Only if I'm really bored and nothing else is available I might play some MahJong.

I used to play Candy Crush and Pet Rescue Saga on my Tablet, but never on my phone. I would only play the 5 free games per day, but then the levels got so hard and I just didn't bother anymore. I would pick it up and play the 5 games of each while waiting form my husband at the eye doctor and then work a puzzle. I like working jigsaw puzzles on my tablet or my laptop, but never on the phone.

No, I never do.

I learned how to play Mah Jongg in person right before Covid but we had to stop during the pandemic. I was never an expert and have become quite rusty. Maybe I should try playing it on my phone.

Just two.Both are word games. Keeps me occupied and my brain running if I've a long wait for something like appointments or a plane!

I do. A cryptogram game. I try to keep it under control but I am embarrassingly competitive. My obnoxious profile name is ME AGAIN. I am frequently number one on the leaderboard.

No, I never play games or even touch the thing unless absolutely necessary. It's for emergencies and 2nd level verifications. It's turned off in my handbag.

No. I don't do games, so to speak. However, I do a few crosswords, Spelling Bee, connections, strands, letterbox and othe NYT puzzles. I don't like playing on phone at all, as it isn't easy for me. The format is a little different. But I will do Spelling Bee in wait rooms, as that is easier to do on phone. Takes my mind off waiting.

I cannot play games on my non-smartphone, cell phone. However, I do play the word games in the NY Times online along with solitaire on HSN's games.

I do not keep my cell phone on and only use it when necessary.

Other than emergencies the only thing I do on my cell phone is text.

We still have a house phone for day to day business.

right now i am addicted to MONOPOLY GO. i got into it because i can play with my other family members, including my adult children. its a nice distraction though. if anyone else plays, have you ever totally finished a round before? a couple of my kids have, but i am almost always stuck having boards that i havent finished (mostly because the golds are so hard to get.) NO, i wont spend any money on it though.

WELL - At the present time I have no idea where my cell phone is - hopefully I will be home when someone calls.

BUT I know where my tablet is. I play Sudoku and Mahjong whenever I sit down and watch TV.

I have auditioned about 15 to 20 games .... tried them for a few days and then uninstalled them and moved on to find something better.

My current favorite word game is Zen Word.

The tournament starts at midnight Thursday and ends midnight Sunday, if you like participating in those things.

Most of the time, I do solo games and like that I can pick it up, add a few words, and put it away.

Sometimes, in traffic at a red light, I'll glance at the words and letters to see if anything jumps out at me. I don't play games in traffic (LOL), just a 10-second glance and then just let my mind look for new words.

You know what I mean.

No I don't play games on my cell phone but I do play on my 2 Amazon tablets(one at a time) and I actually play to many ( I need to find a new hobby )
