Here in Denver, we've had a normal rainfall this year but it's so dry we could always use it.

It is 61 and beautiful here in San Francisco. Until recently I lived my entire life on the East Coast and I do not miss the humidity or the storms. I hope it gets better for you soon.

It's only 103 in Phoenix at 12:30 but feels like 98. Considering the past two miserable summers, this one hasn't been all that bad. Now if only it would rain.

Really weird that the country is under a major heat wave, yet today in the desert in So. CA it is 93 right now at noon and is expected to go to 106 by 5 pm. That, believe it or not, is a low temperature for the desert at this time of the year. It is also a bit cloudy today, so that is keeping the temperature down as well. I'm enjoying the brief respite. It won't last long.

It's not doing anything except sweltering by me yet (NJ), but I'm expecting the storm. My HVAC guy tells me to turn off central air in bad storms. Always such a pleasure when it's 98 degrees out there, and it's close to 80 inside even with it on.

We are south of Charlotte NC. Supposed to get record temps for the next 4-5 days (100-105) with a heat index of 105-110.

It was around 90 degrees here in PA after 3 pm.

The storms rolled in and we had lots of thunder and lightning but little rain.

The best thing is the temperature went down and two hours later it feels

better at 82 degrees.
