Beautiful Morning

After yesterday's catastrophic flooding in Ruidoso, NM, this morning dawned bright and sunny with the local herd of wild horses enjoying grazing. However, more rain could fall this afternoon.

@Kachina624 those horses out there grazing, and that beautiful sky, and the lawn is a peaceful setting. Hopefully a sign of of good things to come. I love the horses. My friend in NV, always enjoys her local mustangs that come down and wander though the community. They have a volunteer group that feeds and protects them. Do the wild horses there in NM have protection as well

@shoekitty. I don't know that they're fed but the community loves them. The have plenty of good grazing. They're fat and sassy.

Everyone is watchful of them when they wander into traffic as you can see they can easily do. They can kick and bite so people are advised to leave them alone.

Thanks, but I'm nowhere near Ruidoso in the Southern Mts. It's near 100° and relentlessly sunny where I am near Albuquerque.
