I won't say the name, but the host on at midnight on 6-16 went through the colors of the handbag 5 times within 23 minutes. She basically had nothing different to say. I have seen her before presenting fashion and she always goes through the colors multiple times and really doesn't give much information about the product. Watched a little longer and she is doing the same thing on the next bag. To me, and I may be in the minority, but her delivery is not my style.

I love Courtney's style of presenting items. The vendor from Pom Pom was explaining the details of the bag and Courtney is a professional and lets him speak.

I think the producer tells the host to go over the colors. I notice this with all different hosts and products.

Yup, they are TOLD "what to say". I once worked for a place that you had to answer the phone saying: "Thank you for calling XYZ Company. This is Ms. Smith speaking and I hope to exceed your expectations".

I watched the entire tsv presentation and thought the host did a great job. The vendor went over the handbag in detail and discussed the leather and design features. The host did her part in covering the colors and supporting the vendor's presentation. I like it when the host let's the vendor talk and tell about the features of their items. I don't see a problem at all with the whole presentation.

I thought it was a good presentation, too. Made me want to buy something that I definitely don't need (!!!!)

I think we need to stop thinking of QVC hosts like it's the 1990s. The brand ambassadors are the hosts now. The program hosts they hire now are actors and models. Do you look at their social media? They post pictures of their outfits and swimsuits. Do they know anything about marketing or production or design? No. They're there to look pretty and say the price and the colors.

I just watched the rebroadcast and thought that Courtney did a very fine job.

Hosts always primarily go through colors, price, number sold and availability. It's their job to do these things and move the show along and ask pertinent questions.

The specifics about the product are generally left to the guest to explain and demonstrate.

The host in the TSV kick-off hour always goes through color options repeatedly. They all do that. It's apparently the way management wants to provide all options as many times as possible so the kick-off gets a a good amount of jump-off sales.

Courtney did her job just as she's supposed to, like all the other hosts at midnight.

Didn't see but David does color choices repeatedly. They're sales people. Thats their job.

Going through colors repeatedly doesn't bother me. I like to see them all, and close up too. Especially when there are details on the items.

What I would like to see more is telling the dimensions of the bags, which could easily be done while going through colors. And show the inside of the bags more than just once. Sometimes neither the dimensions nor the interior of bags are mentioned or shown.

Not everyone will watch the whole program. People tune in and out.

Host's have to repeat color information so that those who tune in late or only for a few minutes might find what they are looking for or be swayed to watch longer because they like a color.

There are millions of people who might be watching at any given time. You are not the only one QVC is trying to reach out to.

They do a horrible job on colors, giving some silly name but never describing the color. I find the way they register on my TV is not always accurate.

I'm always on the lookout for turquoise but never hear colors I THINK MIGHT BE described in any way other than blue. I see mint green described as aqua constantly. I've returned two pairs of so-called red pants because they weren't red at all. Chile red was a shade of fuchsia. Even the studio lighting makes colors look "off".

My question for today, is Cabana Blue turquoise or a sky blue? I'm clueless, so apparently are the hosts. How am I to know what color their cabana is?
