    <description>&lt;P&gt;Ashley Furniture is notorious for stuff like that.&amp;nbsp; Especially when it comes to delivery.&amp;nbsp; A couple of years ago we bought a sectional and mattresses.&amp;nbsp; They wrong mattresses were delivered and the sectional they bought into my house was not all from the same sectional.&amp;nbsp; Different color, different shape, etc.&amp;nbsp; It was a hot mess to get both straightened out.&amp;nbsp; Impossible to get anyone on the phone (they tell us to call the location for delivieries).&amp;nbsp; I purchased mine in store and the sales lady had to step in, but even with her assistance, it wasn't easy and didn't go smoothly.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Furniture Order Rant!</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Just venting, because I'm a little frustrated!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;On May 1, I ordered a sofa online from Ashley Furniture. It was on backorder, said would take 8 to 14 weeks to arrive. A couple weeks later, it was marked "clearance", and then "sold out"--no price drop, though--and I decided to cancel, because I was afraid I would never get it. Got confirmation of the cancelation, and my refund.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I then ordered my 2nd choice sofa from Ashley...supposed to arrive in 5-6 weeks.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Low &amp;amp; behold, I'm notified that my sofa will be delivered on May 28! I just assumed it would be my second choice.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Well, they delivered the sofa I canceled! I'm fine with that as it was the one I really wanted anyway. BUT, then I get notified that the 2nd choice will be delivered next week! I've now canceled that order, and received confirmation of same, but now I have to get on the phone and make very sure that the 2nd sofa won't be delivered, as well as making sure they re-opened the 1st order so it will be paid for. Just frustrating!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Why can't things ever just go smoothly, lol?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="4"&gt;That does sound&amp;nbsp;frustrating!&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="4"&gt;I would make the call to be sure but even if they try to deliver, just let the delivery&amp;nbsp;people know that you don't want it and be sure they don't charge you for the second sofa!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I had a pretty good experience with ordering furniture online--first, it was during the covid times---needed a small sofa but no way was going to try to go out to look for one. So I found one online at Overstock, that measured up to what I needed and ordered. Well--it was on free shipping and on a Memorial day sale at 1/2 off and I got it in 5 days!!! Now-- am I in love with it---no, not really--it's ok. It is the size and color I wanted. That was in 2021.Would I do that again---no-- I want to see it in person-- but to buy something now--in Tariff World---nope--that would be insane. But insanity is the name of the game now.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;We once ordered living room carpet from and area store we even got a date and time and delivery conformation the day before. We prepared our living my work computer was relocated etc. The morning&amp;nbsp;it was supposed to be delivered I get a call, well the mill does not have the carpet in stock so we can not deliver it to you. I immediately&amp;nbsp;canceled the order and we my hubby got home from work&amp;nbsp;we went to Home Depot and ordered carpet which was delivered within two days&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm in Naperville Illinois and wow...when I saw you mention ASHLEY FURNITURE&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I wanted to run and duck&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had an implosion with them in January of this year&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I ordered 3000.00 of furniture in October &amp;nbsp;and by Christmas they&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;were holding my order hostage in Wisconsin because of a bed frame they said was on&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;backorder&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had a sofa and 2 chairs plus a desk and bed&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;By January I grew TIRED of their "we're sorry" and I demanded a complete refund&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I got sent to the home office in Wisconsin who said they had to ASK permission because they are privately owned&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They lied twice about sending out the check&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I gave &lt;U&gt;them a choice&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;1.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Getting new Furniture can be a PIA no matter how you order it, in person or online.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I have been stuck with a custom made sectional sofa in a color I despise. &amp;nbsp;My husband and I went to a furniture store that sold upscale items.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;We went through books of upholestry fabric samples and selected what we wanted. &amp;nbsp;Our sales lady brought her college age son to help her during the " big sales event" of the year.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;She went to help another customer and he wrote up our order. &amp;nbsp;We waited almost three months for the furniture to be made and delivered.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;We got the configuration and fabric we wanted, but it came in some ugly goldish tan color I hate. He apparently used the wrong color code. Even our custom throw pillows were not what we ordered.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;We ended up keeping it, but I still hate it. &amp;nbsp;I keep Surefit covers on it because we have dogs.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;You just don't want to know about my flooring experience with Home Depot. &amp;nbsp;It was the worse. &amp;nbsp;It took almost nine months to get straightened out....and their installers helped themselves to some of our personal things and took my custom hall runners that they made for us...twice. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;They said they delivered them to us, but they didn't. &amp;nbsp;I saw them in the back of the work van.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Their installers are independent workers and speak very little English. &amp;nbsp;It's difficult to communicate with them.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/7668"&gt;@vermint&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I understand your frustration.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I have recently ordered new custom dinette cushions for our RV from Etsy and sent my old covers to use as a pattern. &amp;nbsp;I paid upfront in full and they weren't cheap.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I hope to get my new covers. &amp;nbsp;If not, I know I can get a refund, but my dinette will not be usable unless we sit on plain upholestry foam.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I am keeping my fingers crossed. &amp;nbsp;Best of luck to you. &amp;nbsp;I hope things get straightened out.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

He apparently used the wrong color code.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I finally just bought a Lazy Boy rocker recliner. They didn't have the leather color I wanted in stock so I had to order it. I'm waiting 6-8 weeks.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Hope I don't have any issues.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I will finally have a chair that fits me. I can actually put my feet on the ground. It also has back support where the one I have now doesn't.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I figured I better get one before they go up even more. Already paying $80 more than the one they had in stock.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
