New series on Starz start tonight . Going to give it a try. Since I like The Vikings and Spartacus so much it might be worth my time.

Wooo, I am faint of heart...but that is what is showing on the TV. I will look up ever so often to see what is going on...and the sounds are always in the room.

Maybe its time to make a nice cup of tea...Peppermint with cream. And play games on my lap top computer...and read on a site Reddit dot com. Lots of things to read and see.

And hang out here of course.

Spartacus was one of my all time favorite shows. I enjoyed Vikings but missed several episodes. Loved DaVinci. I have DirectTV and need to sign up for Starz again, they are robbing me blind.

Okay....we taped it. And just started watching it. I am no prude by any means but this story so far seems like NOTHING but vulgar disgusting words and actions.

Does the story pick up later? If not, I don't see the point in watching it. Again, I don't swoon at dirty words but, for me, there at least needs to be a point of the story.

So, again, my question, does this improve any? Dont' want to waste time if not.

yes. Flint used that as a ploy to kill off his rival and to get the crew behind him. He is going to use that man they kidnapped to recreate the missing page - which sounds like it is an itinerary of where the ship of riches has been and will be.

I like seeing a pirate story that doesn't have parrots and peg legs.

I just remembered reading that Starz has already ordered a second season. The first season is only eight episodes, I think.

It's difficult to judge a show by only one episode. The new round of teasers look promising.
