Speaking of Sirius XM...

If you don't mind saying - what plan do you have - what's your monthly cost?

A year or so ago I was offered a lifetime type plan for $9 a month - I went for it happily. I was so sick of renegotiating my cost every year. It recently went up to $10.50 but that iincludes all taxes and fees - not a bad deal at all. And worth it to not have to bargain with them every year.

@FranandZoe Mine came FREE w/the purchase of my new car back in 2017.

I could not figure out how to use it. I followed the directions word for word & still could not get it on my radio.

Took the car back to the dealership, they got some young kid still in HIGH SCHOOL who got it to work WITHOUT reading the direcctions. The kid told me I must have missed a step.

I have Amazon DOTs, so I listen to SIRUS XM through them in my house, never in my car. My car is equipped w/a CD player.

how is this a lifetime plan if the cost is already going up

i pay a lot!

we have an all access plan so i can listen on my computer/laptop/phone, i can listen on my alexa devices, and we have four cars attached to my account. i pay roughly $75 a month.

To Enable the SiriusXM Skill with Amazon devices:

1. Select Skills & Games from the More menu in the Alexa app.

2. Search for SiriusXM and enable the SiriusXM Skill.

3. If you have the SiriusXM app installed, tap Continue to allow seamless log in. If not, enter your SiriusXM streaming username and password.

To play SiriusXM on your Amazon Fire TV device:

1. Open the SiriusXM app on a smartphone or tablet connected to the same WiFi network as the device, and allow authentication.

2. Use any web browser to enter the activation code displayed on the TV.

3. Use the remote to manually enter your SiriusXM app login.

Suggest you visit SIRUS XM website to take advantage of your plan fully.

I think I got a month free w/my car then they started calling me. Blocked their number and they never called back. Just get the occasional mail from them.

Have a hard time w/the hard sell......makes me want to back off.

I have it in my car and can acces through Alexa and my laptop. I pay $15 a month. I chose just to have music and not all the talk.

I pay roughly $100 for the entire year. Well worth the price; especially having no commercials and being able to hear the music I love.

I pay $10.99, which includes whatever fees/taxes, a month. I have the Platinum plan.

When my subscription needs to be renewed, it goes up to more than I care to spend. I call and whine that I can't afford that increase and it goes back down.

I pay $28 per month and it's in my car, downloaded on 2 of my TV's, my Amazon tablets and my Alexa device. I have had Sirius XM when it was included with my new car I bought in 2013. It was free but after I think a month it was $15 or so but it went up like everything else. I love it

Thanks everyone! It's amazing how prices are all over the place.

I bought a new (used) car last fall - for my grandson - it came with a free trial of Sirius XM. They are still making me offers to continue it. But my grandson doesn't even listen to the radio - he uses Blutooth and listens thru his phone. I know he uses Spotify - not sure what else.

I miss having a CD player in m y car - I still listen to them at home.

22 years ago we purchased a lifetime plan ( turns out it only covered one car transfer) for $300; that lasted us 15 years. I'm currently on a 3 year plan at $3 a month. Then whenever it is due for renewal I call and negotiate hard; most of you should call them now and demand the plan I have ( its still available).

I'm paying $6 per month for all channels in my car plus it can be streamed on my phone, iPad or smart tv. You have access to the Sirius app if you have a paid account. I don't understand why so many are paying so much more. 🤷🏻‍♀️. I've had Sirius since 2006 and have never paid more than $129 per year--all channels included.

You get the app from whatever App Store you use, log in and stream over Wi-Fi from a phone, tablet, computer or smart tv.

For the Music & Entertainment package with 1 car and Alexa access, we pay $79/year.
