Oprah Show Last Night

Because this is such a "beloved" topic on these threads, did anyone watch the Oprah special last night about women and menopause? I did not. Saw it was a special and checked the topic and it was an easy pass for me.

There was nothing else on that peaked my interest and my husband had gone to bed so I watched it.

I thought it was a total waste of time. Nothing new.

I think Oprah has lost the credibility and interest that she had in the past and it shows. JMO

You may find some who viewed if you put this thread in TV and Movie forums. There was a thread about it coming up soon awhile back in the t.v. forum. Did not watch and not interested in the subject matter or the host.

I saw the commercial for it and after the one person was talking about when she was getting down to business and realized she still had her estrogen patch on I was mystified. What does that matter? Does she think her partner really cares that she's wearing a patch or even know what it's for. It's not like you can remove it and then put it back on again or get endless supplies of them.

When I used BIH, my PCP told me not to use the estrogen (a cream, not a patch) prior to "getting down to business." The reason? It will affect the male.....if you know what I mean.

No - not interested in Oprah anymore and the menopause ship has sailed for me.

And as much as I like Naomi Watts as an actor I don't need to hear about her getting down to business with her estrogen patch on. Talk about TMI. Bad enough she's selling menopause products on QVC.

I watch 0 with Berry as she lied about having Type 1 diabetes. She claimed she CURED it with a ketogenic diet. She even had contracts with drug companies pushing medication for Type 2 afterwards....the woman has no shame.

When Oprah actually has some researchers and scientists on, I will watch. A bunch of celebrities enthralled with the sound of their own voices do not interest me in the least.

I didn't watch--and am so tired of all that over sharing about any womens bodily function------tired of the cutsey lingo and sayings---been there done all that----Like it is a surprise that the rich and glamorous even go thru such things--hogwash!!!!
