I would be touring around town in the new yellow and white VW van. It's electric and called the Buzz.

When I first met my husband, he drove an ancient mellow yellow van which broke down continually.

I like it and I have actually been thinking about a van because I like the sliding doors especially when loading my grandson and in June I will have another grandson. However this is out of my price range at my age, but if I was younger and working a good job I would go for it.🥰

We took our first ride in our son's new low slung Honda yesterday. He needed help to get out.

Long ago and far away, parents of a friend had one. We rode in the cargo area, several at a time. On the freeway 😂 Think the engine was in back too, so we had fumes 😂

I'm with you...love this Van!

My first car was a VW Bug...years later I had a Scirocco which was stolen from the commuter lot where I parked.

Fast forward...bought a new Tiguan (hate the name, liked the car)....and currently own a VW Atlas which I love.

My best guy friend was a VW mechanic and had a wonderfully funky shop I used to visit. Every kind of VW in the process of being repaired. He hated them, but had a souped-up Bug. He was also a drag racer.

Now that I could afford that van, I might get one in the next few years.

It is cute, but starting at about 60K, I believe, I'll pass. For that much there are other vehicles I'd rather have,though I did always want a bug convertible, a VW Karman Ghia convertible or an original VW mini bus.

If I remember correctly, your husband was a drag racer?

My husband raced for many years, too, and I never thought I'd see him drive an electric truck.

However, he needed a new work vehicle this past year and bought a Ford electric....and, surprisingly, LOVES it. Says it's not perfect, but he likes the $10,000 a year he's not spending on gasoline.

He's still hanging on to his 1964 Avanti and will never part with that, but his racing days are long gone.

@monicakm A friend of mine bought a used little green KG convertible. I learned to drive stick on that car and loved it!

Well if I had 60k to spend on a vehicle, I would buy it because I love it! It's extremely cool and to me, your are NEVER too old to be cool.😎 omg I would have a peace sign painted on the side ☮️

Right now, husband drives a 2008 Honda Odyssey Touring and he loves it. It's in excellent condition. We also have a 2015 Toyota 4Runner that I always drive and a pick up for hauling and yard work stuff.

I can't ever see myself in a sedan.

I loved VW KGs! Always wanted one but never found one I could afford. We now have a VW EOS hardtop , it's DH's summer drive and he loves it, it's fun! My new Jeep Grand Cherokee is a hybrid, starts as an electric vehicle then becomes a gas vehicle. Has some quirks, like it 'sings' until the gas power takes over.

Love the look of that van, what a beauty! I too would be adding peace signs. Enjoy it!

@mrshckynut I agree with your spouse--although I'd be in a 350 high compression '69 Camaro! Or better yet, a '67 marine blue 427 (can't remembr the real name of that color) that could haul 'yo behind down the road at 120 m.p.h. and not break a sweat.

Unless, of course, YOU broke a sweat because there was some sneaky OHP hiding in the weeds.
