Tax return Wow !!

Some may remember my post on 2/12 noting I had just completed and filed my Tax returns. Well !! I just signed into my checking acct and to my surprise here on 2/15 my state refund has been deposited !! I don't recall ever getting any refund that quick ! Happy girl again !!

My cap says if you file Jan or early feb, you will get return fast after mid March , its longer and if you wait til April 15, it could be. Awhile

I file my taxes in January every year, and always get my refund direct deposited into my account within 2 - 3 weeks.

It really does feels great to be done with it all early every year.

Yes I would strongly advise getting it done early, and I need to take my own advice. Before the very large number of IRS employees are let go.

This is your STATE Tax Refund. Any News yet on your FEDERAL Tax Refund?

Some States are afraid of this Crazy "Peeling Back" of Federal Monies distributed to the States, so some States, hopefully all States, are "Jonny on the spot," getting those STATE Tax Refunds out, PDQ, hopefully.

Advice, get those *REFUND* Tax Returns in, State *&* Federal, PDQ.

Can't remember the last time we got a refund! So, I'm not in any hurry, either.

Texas taxes are indeed high. It's always a double whammy having to pay property taxes by Jan. 31st and then the IRS in April.😠😠

Even since we retired we pay taxes, big time. We even have taxes taken out of pension and SS. Never enough! Wait, we do get a bit back from state of calif, but we apply it to next years taxes. But I shouldn't complain. Things could be worse, like not having money to pay taxes, yikes.

Good for you . I just read that the IRS will be having employee cuts . They are still getting over the Covid Tax Returns duration . We do not live in a perfect world .

So whats next for all of us ?

I received my federal refund on day 5. I figured I should file my taxes before politics cleans out everything at the IRS and there are huge delays.
