what a Monday!!!

I did my taxes yesterday and filed them, not without some drama there---however--my printer decided to become posessed and would not do as I commaded----had figure out how to delete the printer job in the que then re-set it, then turn it off and on and then unplug the dang thing to re-set it. When plugged back in--the 2nd time--- it just shot out page after page in huge bold type -of documents from awhile ago---OMG--a printer Linda Blair started. So I am dumping the stupid thing and bought a new one----is coming tomorrow--wow---then my coffee table had a screw loose---I stood it up on its end--is a rectangle shape --took out the screws to rescrew it together and then watched as the whole thing literally fell apart and folded in on itself in front of me!! So am getting another one---and will smudge my place with a sage stick to rid it of evil spirits good thing I am getting a tax refund back--or am I????? that was my Monday!!

@wagirl I just had to respond to your comment. I had the same thing happen yesterday. Got all,y tax documents ready to print to bring to my tax preparer abd all of a sudden my reliable printer decided to jam. I could not find a paper jam. Restarted it made sure I cleared the printer utility abd tried again, abd again until I finally gave up. I had to send me docs to my neighbor to print for me. I hate having to buy another printer but I guess it's inevitable

Get out the salt and walk around the outside of your house too! You need a protection circle STAT!

It must have been tax day. I also submitted mine on Sunday night.

Not to be mean, but this gave me a little chuckle. I'm a fan of the show The Office and have been binging on it lately. Just yesterday, I watched the episode where the cheap foreign made Sabre printers were defective.

My shoulder is ready to be on loan to you @wagirl ! Years ago I had an issue with my portable printer, it was ongoing and I swear it was possessed. DH came home one night and it was sitting in the bottom of the pool, he came in and said "Let's go to Best Buy."

I use a Samsung tablet for all my online activity. Have bought both a HP and a Canon printer and can't get either to work. They pretend like they're printing but there's never a word on the paper. Something on my tablet is preventing printing and I can't figure out what it is. I could supply two people with brand new printers.

@wagirl I am so sorry! What a terrible Monday...Here's hoping the rest of your week goes smoothly.

Something surely was in the air yesterday. I received an unexpected document that I needed to get to my tax preparer immediately because this was the first and only time I'd filed this early. Naturally, my printer would not print. I drove it over to his office (no time to make a copy elsewhere) and he said no problem on not having a copy, I'll return it to you. Fingers crossed.

Well, I don't want your Canon. That's what I just bought. I don't print much, except receipts for tax purposes. Ya know..."print page". The miserable piece of junk prints fine....HALF the time.

Then for some unknown reason, I will get a msg on it's tiny one square inch screen, giving me unintelligible "instructions"... I have to get out my Sherlock magnifier, and a flashlight just to TRY reading the mumbo-jumbo. I SHUT THE THING DOWN AND GIVE UP...

Then, the next time I use it...it prints just fine. I guess it has "mood swings". di

Does anyone remember that hilarious scene in the movie Office Space when they drop kick and beat a printer machine out in a field? I love that scene 🤣.

@wagirl You are a great storyteller!! Between the possessed printer and the coffee table on its last legs, that is one heck of a Monday!! I hope that Tuesday will be relaxing and fun for you. Let that printer know that you're the boss! 😉🙌

I'm sure we will owe money so I don't really care if our taxes get done or not? I'm not doing them. DH can do what he wants. I told him I'm sick of paying taxes while others don't.

@Teddixat --this printer has always been a pain in the caboose---only had it 3 years or so, but it has an evil mind of it's own. DD gets so frustrated with it ---will NOT print from her phone unless she is physically in the room and then ----mayb not even then. I have gone thru the app in settings 8,000 times to try to get it to behave--just had to unplug it and let it rest---grrrrrrr!!!
