@gellen Yes...definitely miss Bed Bath and Beyond. I also miss Pier 1.

We had a store called Wishing Well, they had lots of party things for very reasonable prices. I think it was probably a local chain.

@gellen - I agree with you - the "old" BBB. They rescued me so many times when I would dash into the store we had to buy and wrap (no charge) a last minute wedding shower gift. I knew I could rely on them.

Once we had family coming. I couldn't find the "good" towels, so I dashed up at the last minute Friday evening and bought matching ones. We still have them.

I do miss them.

I miss my Stein Mart! Bought clothes there for me and my husband, as well as pjs, underwear, shoes, purses, jewelry, belts, lingerie, linens, and housewares. I even bought a few snacks, sweets, and pet items there.

Bed, Bath & Beyond and the 99 Cents Stores.

Thank goodness Dollar Tree has picked up most of the 99 Cents Store leases in CA and is slowly opening them. They probably didn't plan such an expansion, but really stepped up. Good for them ... and their customers.

People should check to make sure there isn't a BB&B store close by. They intend to open more stores this year. They might not be as big though.

99¢ stores. Dollar Tree bought a lot of them here in Arizona, but because 99¢ stores were much larger than Dollar tree, there are lots of empty shelves. Plus they carried fresh produce and Dollar Tree doesn't.

Also miss Pier 1.
