You're not rrealizing every piece of data collected is merged with other data collected on you. That's what Google Adsense is all about. They data mine that data on you and form a profile that eventually captures more personal data and with banks and credit unions now sharing transaction data with Google Adsense, including state, county and city govts that sharek your data like auto tab renewals, home property tax, permits, etc. pretty soon they have a dossier on you. And remember knowing how many vehicles you have (make model year) and your home address (IP location, value, address to look up on Google.Earth your financial worth could be calculated. If they have all that info, they likely know where you work, live, shop and wo you call via geofencing and whether you're worth a breakin. So if that's okay with you, fine. It's only a matter of time before ID theft or worse yet you'll experience. There is a reason that privacy laws (personal data) carry as much force and effect as financial data when it comes to breach and hacks. But they to each their own. I would be incensed if my data was shared by an online merchant.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Heads Up, Just Thought Ya'll Would Want to Know...</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have bought with confidence over the years "As Is" Valerie and Bethlehem Lights products.&amp;nbsp; I've received perfect/near perfect items that function as intended, no scrapes, scratches, chips or damage of any kind. I always order Christmas tree trim and decor for NEXT yr to take advantage of the reduced pricing. And this January I've ordered quite a bit "As Is" by Valery.&amp;nbsp; Love the starry night, swirling snow trees and hurricanes and at "As Is" I can afford to gift out in various colors.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Until this year...&amp;nbsp;I've received multiple orders with issues: broken star off tallest tree, chip/crack in glass hurricane, WRONG COLOR THAT WAS ANOTHER CUSTOMER'S RETURN INCLUDING RETURN DOCUMENTATION showing C*** A***, **** North Carolina name, address, transaction info! Still waiting for return UPS labels for both pkgs so that I can receive refunds for the original order and my replacement order.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ordered a garland and received instead 4 cheap picks that are not even Valerie's. Still waiting for UPS label to return so that reorder can be made for me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ordered 3 large candle rings to go with garland, instead today received 4 gingerbread &amp;amp; ornament picks. Another pkg needing UPS return label because they are out of stock now and I have to wait yet again for refund.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then last week received Betty *** from *** TN&amp;nbsp; order for Denim&amp;amp;Co pants. I have no clue WHY I received them nor which of my orders was intended to be send. Full order info including Betty's name/address/transaction detail of course was in the pkg.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Still waiting on UPS labels to be provided so that I can return all the screw ups to receive my money back. I've chatted with cust svc on these issue multiple times. I've made numerous calls to QVC cust care and spoke to supervisor even escalated to a Manager that I'm still waiting to hear from.&amp;nbsp; Oh I've spoken to some nice cust svc reps and several who are irritated I dragged them from their social media, BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It would seem the CEO Market Talk was timely, seems like QVC's wheels are falling off!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Lessons Learned:&amp;nbsp; (1) Wait for the dust to settle, make sure all orders and refunds are received and then close my account never to buy from this&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;company again.&amp;nbsp; (2)&amp;nbsp;MAKE SURE TO REMOVE IDENTIFYING INFO ON ANYTHING YOU SEND BACK TO QVC&amp;nbsp; other than the return form showing order number and item description and any control numbers used by QVC. &amp;nbsp; USE A SHARPIE AND BLACK OUT YOUR NAME/ADDRESS ON LABEL YOUR CONTROL RETURN NUMBER IS ON THE LABEL. YOUr INFO CAN AND LIKELY WLL BE SENT TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER JUST AS I'VE RECEVIED TWO CUSTOMER'S PERSONAL INFORMATION.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have been one of those who had some bad luck with "as is" items in the past therefore I stopped purchasing.&amp;nbsp; You're lucky if you get a brand new item that's not broken.......many on here have had wonderful luck with their purchases so it's the luck of the draw.&amp;nbsp; I'll tell you what though, if you have a Michael's craft store or something similar nearby you can get the best prices for decor after Christmas.&amp;nbsp; I went to buy a poster frame and came out with some gift bags, tissue paper, Chrismtas cards and a&amp;nbsp; metal Santa in a sleigh sculpture for my mantle along with my BOGO frames!&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;All Christmas was 80% off!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Scored big time!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I’ve NEVER ordered an “as is” item.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And yet I have gotten other peoples orders and paperwork and I’m sure they must have gotten mine. 🥴&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So really it has nothing to do with “as is” items as far as getting someone else’s paperwork. I also would not buy BL, because electronics can always have problems.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I have been shopping at the Q for decades, and I used to go to the two (even three!) outlet stores multiple times a year as well to look for bargains. There were always TONS of Valerie products on the shelves.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I have no problems buying "as is" clothes and jewelry online, because I have figured out QVC's system to a certain extent. In other words, if they dump a lot of colors and sizes into "As Is," that means they are phasing out the item and the style, not that the items are all returns and used.&amp;nbsp; If a single piece of jewelry pops up out of nowhere, that means it was probably used as an on-air sample, and was misplaced for a bit.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;In any case, almost everything is almost always returnable, which is a great option.&amp;nbsp; Yes, the warehouse can make mistakes with labels, but it is not a common occurrence. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;This year I bought two gorgeous gold and diamond rings "as is" at about half the price they were originally--perfect condition. I also bought three of the Barefoot Dreams cardigans--fantastic price for quality--and several D &amp;amp; C dresses (great family gifts!).&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I also always shop Lunchtime and Primetime specials.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I have been very pleased with almost all of my QVC purchases, whcih is why I continue to be a loyal customer. By the way, I shop everywhere, and I just ordered a lovely "final sale" dress from Saks for the Spring.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

And remember knowing how many vehicles you have (make model year) and your home address (IP location, value, address to look up on Google.Earth your financial worth could be calculated. If they have all that info, they likely know where you work, live, shop and wo you call via geofencing and whether you're worth a breakin. So if that's okay with you, fine. It's only a matter of time before ID theft or worse yet you'll experience. There is a reason that privacy laws (personal data) carry as much force and effect as financial data when it comes to breach and hacks. But they to each their own.
