I've been in Florida when it's snowed. March of 1993. Our entire family was in a 1 bedroom condo on Anna Maria Island, and my then 9 month old nephew decided to take that opportunity to start walking. The snow didn't stick for more than a couple of hours, but it most certainly did snow for the better part of a day. Good times!

Ive lived in Sarasota, Fl my entire 59 years of life. It snowed Christmas Eve 1989. I was out with friends bar hopping. I thought it was ash from someones fireplace at first. It wasnt a lot at all. It accumulated on car tops a tiny bit on roofs. I remember scraping it off the my car roof and putting it in my freezer. For what, I dont know.lol

I do not recall snow falling in 1993 in Anna Maria Island,. I cannot find info on that happening on the internet..

Perhaps it was in the Florida Panhandle during the Blizzard of the Century March 1993?

Yes, it snowed in Miami! January 19, 1977. I had to scrape the snow off my car window to get to my school, Coconut Grove Elementary.

Of course, I didn't have a snow scrapper so I managed to remove some icy snow from my window with my bare hands. No gloves. Well, I couldn't really see out of the window and ran over a small tree!!!

My husband always loves to tell this story.

Georgia just got our second winter storm watch in as many weeks for Tuesday into Wednesday. I ordered a new snow shovel a week ago and it still has not shown up. Amazon must have intercepted it as a wrong order. 🤣

I remember being in college in Port St. Lucie which is just north of West Palm. It hit 50 degrees one day and they went on the intercom to announce they had started serving hot chocolate in the cafeteria. This Jersey girl and my professor from Michigan laughed so much we couldn't start class. Between that and my fellow classmates showing up in hats and gloves (50 degrees!), we had never been so entertained.

I cant understand why you find that difficult to comprehend. I didnt drive to the library or newstation. It was a couple of clicks regarding what would be fascinating ( to me) occurance that never normally happens in my area.

@KKlim

I don't think ANYONE (who experienced it) will ever forget the "Blizzard of '67" in Chicago.

You're right! I remember that '67 blizzard well. I was 6 years old and the shoveled snow was taller than me, tall walls of shoveled snow my folks cleared for the sidewalk opening. I can still recall walking from the doorway of our house and then down the sidewalk of the snow wall corridor. This after a rare, balmy 65 degrees in Chicagoland, just two days earlier. Unusual weather swing for sure.
