I had difficulty getting into their website today. Seems like there is another website called proboards. I finally got in by using proboards q forum friends. Has anyone else had problems finding this website now?

I was dropped as a member for non-participation. When I tried to rejoin, I was unable to do so.

I dropped off too. I was only there less then a handful of times. i never really liked it very much.

I was banned for non-participation too. I guess for life cause I couldn't rejoin after several months.

@Dragonflyveb - As small as that group is, you'd think they would let us former members rejoin. I can understand if we can't rejoin because we were violating rules or something.

I stopped participating a long time ago. One thing I disliked how certain posters lurk on the QVC board and then scurry back to Proboards to put down the people/posts who seem to have an alternative point of view.

I tried to log on after reading this thread, and I guess I've been removed from the group, too. I found it much more difficult to navigate than the forums here, so once the forums were kept, I never went back to ProBoards. No telling when I was removed. lol

I was just thinking about Proboards the other day.

I had no idea they were banning people for not participating often enough. I can't try to log on right now, but I will later. If they've banned me, I guess that's it.

It's helpful to remember that your detractors are actually your fans. If that's what some have to talk about 24/7, feel fine with living rent free in someone's head. You've done your service work for the day.

@Greeneyedlady21 Actually, you need to look no further than these Q boards for mean-spirited posters. How many times have I seen comments about how the OP didn't make sense, misspelled something, shouldn't ask for medical advice, first post so shouldn't have an opinion? How many threads are shut down because people can't be civil?

Just Google q forum friends if you want to get to the mellyg.proboards for qvc after Q said they were going to close this forum.

ProBoards has a lot of different forums set up. The one made for QVC posters is not the only one there.

It's a Free Forum for Message Board Hosting.

That forum was not started with the intention of it being a little private place to make fun of posters here. But that's what it eventually became. It was started by Melly as an alternative for everyone who wished to join as an alternative to these forums. Then in a very short time she was no longer involved with it at all.

I made the choice to leave there when it became meaner than this place and people started making fun of people here, and when only one viewpoint was tolerated.

On these forums the moderators put a stop to meanness vs actually joining in on it or doing nothing.

@Lakelife62 Isn't that the truth!

If a poster has to run to another board to talk negatively about someone here it should be worn as a badge of honor by the poster being discussed.

Just FYI...they ban on that board by IP address.

The board started out with good intentions. I wonder if the Melly who started it was disappointed with how it went along.
