We're now under a Winter Storm warning until Monday !

The grocery stores have been crowded today, the State road director, emergency management directors and other officials are saying this storm is one we have not seen in years ! The KC airport I believe has shut down or about to from what I heard on the news. It's freezing cold here in St. Louis, snow hasn't started yet but later tonight so I put a cover over my car window and they have started canceling church services for tomorrow. The last I saw on the news was a prediction of up to 8" of snow here in St. Louis with heavy freezing rain in the southern part of the state. What's your weather update where you are? Stay safe everyone !

I just saw a blurb on FlightRadar 24 that the Chiefs can't get out of KC because the airport is closed.

Edited to update: they made it out and are enroute to Denver.

@Goodie2shoes. It was 63° today in Albuquerque but became windy this afternoon. Cold front coming next week with highs in 30s and some snow around the state. Too early to predict how much or where.

About time as December was the warmest on record.

We are expecting snow to start before dawn on Monday and it should keep snowing all day here in Northern Delaware. Right now the forecast is 3-6 inches but just south of me the forecast is 6+ inches so I think it will depend how the storm travels. I work in a public school system and Monday was supposed to be our first day back after holiday break. Most likely I will have another day off.

Too far North for this storm. Highs only in the teens. Was 14 degrees when I ran errands earlier.

Not much snow on the ground, maybe 1-2". Not enough to fire up snowmobiles, for sure.

I live just west of KC. We had an icy rain start about 3 PM. It was just misty before that. We had a terrible blizzard on Christmas Eve about 16 years ago. This storm promises to be worse. The wind is supposed to be about 45 MPH. The snow should start sometime after midnight where I live. The weather says we could possibly get over 12 inches of snow on top of the ice. Everything has closed for tomorrow including the churches. I had to do my monthly grocery shopping yesterday. I went to 3 stores. Aldi had no parking spaces. Every check-out lane whether it was self serve or had a checker was open at all 3 stores. A lot of shelves were empty. Dillons had signage about the egg shortage. They usually have around 7 or 8 brands. They had Kroger only yesterday. I was very glad when I finally got home. I don't plan to venture out for several days! I hope everyone is staying warm and safe.

I'm in SE PA and we had a dusting of snow yesterday. I went to the supermarket since I needed to stock up on a lot of things. It wasn't too bad. Usually Wegmans tends to be very crowded even on regular days.

Tomorrow the forecast is supposed to be in the mid 30s but windy. Monday we get snow starting around 4 am. It will be coming down off and on throughout the day. They are sayng we should be getting between 2-4 inches.

Those south of us will be getting more.

I just received a text that church has been canceled for tomorrow. I wasn't going anyway, planned on watching the service live on YouTube. Well that's that ! I will be right here at home probably at least until Wednesday or Thursday !

You may be getting our weather, currently in the 30's with lows in the teens and low 20's.

Temps in the 20's all week. Pittsburgh expected to get 3-6" Monday. We shall see. They say it might move south. It can change in a heartbeat. Stay safe.

Southeastern Ohio here. They just upgraded out Winter Storm Warning to go from Sunday at 1 pm until Tuesday at 1 am. 8 to 12" with ice underneath. All stocked up on coffee, jigsaw puzzles and duraflame heaters! Stay safe everyone!

We can't buy a rainstorm. I just hope this warm winter doesn't mean we'll be even hotter than last summer.

They're predicting 5-8 inches for us in Northern Virginia between tonight and late Monday night. This is HUGE for us. The Governor has declared a state of emergency. I've got the snowblower and Frostguard windshield covers in the carport ready to go. All of our cars will be in the driveway before the snow starts to help the guys on the snowplows once they make it to our neighborhood. Temps are going to plummet, so we're hunkering down until it's over. I'm making chili and cornbread for dinner tonight. 🤞🏻 that we don't lose power!

We got snow the other day and probably a couple of inches but it has been cold.

No snow for Christmas and now we get it. It is those cold temps that makes me want to stay in but no can do.

Weird in Maryland. AccuWeather says 8-12" inches. There no mail delivered yesterday (the wind was really bad). Any snow from the little storm on Saturday is still on the ground. 12" is stretching it, but we'll see. This event will be tomorrow. Supposed to snow all day. We'll see of this pans out.
