@beckyb1012 @geezerette. Yes, apparently it's supposed to start around the 8th. I'm right on the Western edge and our meteorologists haven't mentioned it yet. All of December has been 10-15° ABOVE NORMAL.

The local weatherman said this morning that he foresees very cold temps for about the next three weeks here in PA. It normally is cold in January, but he said it will be very cold!

The local weather folks here in Central Florida warned us this morning that starting around the 10th we are expecting very cold temps. Highs in the 40's. Yes people Florida gets cold. Northern Florida gets even colder.....hunker down and stay safe. Happy New Year everyone ✨️

I just told my DD I am not flying to see them next week, snow maybe on Monday. Last winter had two flight problems with weather.☹️

I'm in the upper middle of the country. We got a little snow and ice last night. We are expecting more snow and temps of 12 to 18 degrees the rest of the week.

That's still fairly warm for my part of the country at this time of year.

@SilleeMee I too have a dental appointment on the 8th ! Of course the weather will be bad ! Then on the 20th have to travel an hour to another appointment!

Looks like a cold season for many.

It just seems to me the first week of January was almost always at least 1-2 days spelled ICE. From there till spring, it can be all downhill. We'll see........it varies.
