I find it interesting Jen has been talking live on tv about leaving for a couple months, but Kerstin makes an announcement on Instagram? Something feels slightly off, as though one is leaving because they truly planned to and the other may have had their hand forced. Only my opinion. I hope they are happy in their futures going forth.

It will be nice to mix up SMQ, and shuffling around of hosts. Put some of the newer ones on the main channel. Maybe when Vanessa returns she will be on SMQ so she can be home more nights with the little one. She would balance Alberti well.

a sudden surprise announcement on social media sounds like it wasn't necessarily her decision. Of course I'm just speculating

I think that Kerstin has been working up to leaving for a while. She announced a while back (about the time that Jennifer did also) that she would be cutting back on her Q on air shows.

So her announcement on air and on her social media to leave completely doesn't surprise me at all.

Jenn never bothered me, aside from her whole wedding ordeal. I never cared for Kerstin. So Buh Bye to both of them. Now if they could only take Jane T with them, lol.

My thoughts were I would prefer swapping out 2 specific others in lieu of J + K to leave. 🤷‍♀️

I would anticipate Pat, Leah, and Rick retiring in the not too distant future. Just speculation on my part of course. Jayne and David can't be too far behind. Will definitely not miss the two who are leaving.

I don't see Jane T. leaving anytime soon. She'll be around for another decade.

I think, in those cases, the hosts aren't left to continue working into the new year. It's simply goodbye.

I rarely see Jen, but did like Kirsten on SMQ. Won't be happy if Rachel B. takes over.
