Wrapped presents or in gift bag?

Do you like wrapped gifts or in gift bags? It is much easier to stick it in a bag. But wrapped presents are fun to unwrap for the recipient. Which do you prefer?

I do both @mormel20 . Some presents fit better is a bag while others fit well in a box. I like a variety.

I like both. I usually do a gift bag for adults and gift wrap for the children. I love to watch a child tear into a present.🥰

I like anything that look's pretty, bags or wrapping!

One of my aunts does the most elegant wrapping with unusual bows. You can always telll if it's a present from her.

And one of our neighbors wraps with the most beautiful ribbons and bows-long, intricate, gorgeous bows to keep, and paper to go with every season.

I don't like to wrap with those Amazon bags especially since I don't always get it from Amazon.

And then every present looks the same under the tree.

I like to make it special for the person especially for the grandkids.

I prefer a gift wrapped box. Sometimes you just have to use a gift bag

@mormel20 If it will fit in a gift bag without the whole thing falling over, it's gift bags for me! But if someone wants to give me a wrapped gift or a gift in a bag, I'm grateful for either one.

I prefer wrapped gifts.

I dislike gift bags, they show lack of effort/care. May as well just use the bag the gift was shoved into at the store and put a stick-on bow on it.

I like to wrap if it lends itself to it.

If I have a lot of little things, I do a gift bag. For this Christmas, I got a pack of brown gift bags with rope handles in the Walmart craft department, bought some simple ribbon to tie it close and did some sticker gift tags to dress it up and look like I made an effort. They look cute.

I definitely like wrapped gifts as opposed to presents in a gift bag. I'm not a very creative person so using tissue paper and such to make a gift bag look very festival and appealing is not something I'm good at.

I can make a gift look fairly nice by using Christmas themed wrapping paper and a nice festival bow or ribbon. I will spend quite a bit of time wrapping gifts so that they are pretty to look at.

I also prefer getting gifts wrapped in nice holiday gift wrapping. This is my opinion only, but getting a present that is nicely wrapped adds to the anticipation of wondering what is inside.

I always appreciate any gift that someone takes their time and money to purchase for me, but I'm like a child in the sense that a wrapped gift just says Christmas to me.

I'm the opposite when it comes to bags. I think I inherited it from my mother.

When I buy something from a store and they put it in a nice sturdy paper shopping bag, I am so happy! I almost feel like if it's in a nice bag, gift or otherwise, I'm like skip the gift, give me the bag lol!

And I got one of my grandaughters a Disney Princess themed present and found a Disney Princess gift bag for it!

And for my littlelest grandson I found a Baby Shark gift bag for his.

For my other grandson I got a Dream Big gift bag for his present. He is an artist.

They will definitely know who these bags are for.

And guess where I got them from?

Dollar Tree! And each one was the last one of that kind. I felt like an Elf from Santa's workshop!

I also love the tissue paper that is usually in the gift bags. A friend showed me how to make it look like a flower. So I am extremely proud of myself when I include that!

Bring on the bags!

I do also appreciate a beautifully wrapped gift too!

You continue to amaze me with some of your opinions. 😂

Using a gift bag in no way shows a lack of caring on the part of the gift giver. 🙄

I like to wrap and more fun for the kids I think. I also use the gift bags QVC sells and reuse.

I have done the gift bags and usually with my friends. This year we decided no gifts and just go do something fun together instead.

I like to mix it up but not so much gift bags any more.

I prefer to wrap gifts but my kitchen is small and there's not a good place to do it and if I sit on the floor in the living room,it kills my back so it's much much easier to use a bag.

I do both. The larger packages are wrapped.
