Ordered from Macys 11/27- shipping

Wow I thought QVC shipping times sometimes are long BUT I ordered two items from Macys on 11/27 from Black Friday sale and the expected delivery is 12/17 and 12/20.

I leave to go home 12/19 so hopefully the one thing I wanted as a gift will be here.

Does it normally take that long? I won't order from them again.

Yes, as much as I love their sales they do take a long time. I also don't like how I place an order and everything comes separately. I know QVC ships things separately also, but those are individual orders.

I ordered a sweater on December 1. They mailed it and when I track it it says it will be delivered late.😩😩😩 It has been in Greensborrow, NC for a couple of days.

I had not ordered from Macy's in a long time, but I do not remember such slow shipping.

I ordered yesterday and got notice today, shipped. Maybe it depends how much you order or what depart.

Now QVC takes awhile. My order from two days ago is still being prepared.

Also , the price went up 10.00 if you brought it now. QVC very slow.

Said I would get it the 13th when I ordered and it'a still being prepared.

@Tori3569. I've got 3 pieces of clothing coming this week from qvc, all in one package. They do ship thing together when possible.

Sorry you have to wait so long. I always get Macy's shipments rather quickly; a week or less. Maybe it's taking longer due to lots of holiday orders? Hope you get what you need in time.

I never had a problem with shipping from Macy's. I ordered recently and the item came within days. Love Macy's.

I think it is just the time of year when shipping is backed up and slow. I placed an order from Macy's on 12/7. It is still processing. That's unusual for Macy's.

I bought something from Ebay on 12-1 mailed from Milwaukee to GA. It got to the Atlanta USPS processing center on 12-6 and instead of being sent to where I live about 50 miles north of Atlanta suddenly the item was off to California.

I am a big Macy's online shopper and that shipping time is very unusual for me. I usually receive my items in a week. You mentioned you ordered on Black Friday, you along with millions of other people shopped online that day. I suspect the delay is due to holiday shipping. I ordered 2 bottles of perfume from Macy's on Black Friday and received them both about a week later.

I usually get my Macy's orders pretty quickly, but I also don't like that they ship separately....I hope you have received yours by now!

I usually get my orders within 3 -4 days--some have taken longer in the past. You can always opt for same day delivery too--have done that a few times if I needed it quick

Depending on what you order most items are shipped from the vendor to you or to the store for pickup. Returns sometimes have to be made to the vendor. Macys cannot stock every item they sell!

Three days and QVC still preparing my order. Deliver stated I would get the 13th. I don't care, just ship it.

If you order something from Macy's, they will ship it out immediately usually from store stock.

I worked at Macy's during the Christmas holidays and we would fulfill orders from the stock we had on the floor. A salesperson would pull an item and have it " boxed or bagged" it the. Was sent to the mail room for shipment. Some stores are proficient at this and give it top priority and some stores are more behind.

Macy's has stores all over the US. The computer will be able to tell which stores has the items you want and send a request for them to send it to you.

That is why sometimes multiples of the same items and items ordered at the same time will come in different shipments.

There is a good chance you will receive what you ordered more quickly than you were quoted.

I order from Macy's all the time. Always get my items quickly.
Ordered a pair of shoes last Wednesday, they were delivered Saturday.

I don't if it's based on where you live, or being a Gold/ Platinum member.

I've never had any delays from Macy's. I ordered something last Thursday and it was on Tuesday.

Could your item be coming from the vendor instead of Macy's. If so, that probably explains the delay.
