Wow--I am pretty impressed! Your photos, especially the hawks, are wonderful!

I do not know where you work, but you certainly have some magnificent birds nearby.

If those are pictures you take on a whim, perhaps you could continue to observe them and then get a great shot and enter it into the Audubon bird photography contest.

I have pet birds (parakeets), and once I took falconry lessons, and I really admire all lovely birds.

@JFD12 - Thank you for the pics - they are beautiful. My husband and I are both bird lovers photograph them when we have the time.

Every now and then the Eagle does a fly-by and it takes my breath away - my favorite. The hawk spends time in a tree in my yard. A few hummingbirds spend the winter here (SC) so I put food out for them all winter as well as a lamp (not hot) to keep their food from freezing and they can get warm.

We are on the coast so we have a lot of waterfowl on a regular basis and some that migrate through. Yesterday we had several Wood Storks standing on my neighbor's lawn.

Great close-up's of the beautiful hawk and the eagle was soaring high. I'd have a hard time getting any work done, with such an inviting show right outside my window.

Gracious, do you work in a zoo?! Those are amazing photos; thanks for posting. The only birds outside my windows are pigeons.

I saw my first Bald Eagle in 1976 on a trip to Colorado. At the time I was sure it would be the only one I would ever see because they were so rare. Now I see them in my own rural Iowa area. It is such a restoration success story.

Thanks for the beautiful pictures. Your Red Tailed Hawk is beautiful. We have a neighborhood Cooper's Hawk that is so beautiful to see.

@mrshckynut What a great photo. I was particularly focused on those talons. It's clear there would be little chance of escape, with those dug into prey. Yikes!

FYI Since we are talking about these beautiful creatures, I thought some of you might be interested in this.

I watch Eagle Cams (along with hawks, falcons and the list goes on, lol). One of the eagle cams in FLA just laid her second egg of the season. She (F23) and he (M15) are a beautiful couple to watch.

Thank you, everyone! I actually work for the city. My office is surrounded by woods , and the reservoir across the street, where the eagles roam around looking for food! We have deer that trot on by the window occasionally., and all kinds of things! The turkeys are out there every single day, ready for work! 😜🤪 Sadly, it's been so dry here and we're in a drought, and the woods all around the cities near us have been up in flames. Kinda scary. All that anyone can smell outside is smoke. We need a huge rainfall! 🌧️ ☔️
