Bracing for reality - normal temps...

Two days before Halloween and the current temp here in Lincoln, NE is 77!

It is nearly 11:30 PM

The winds will be changing from the south to the north by morning when the rain arrives. Enjoying the last bit of warmth...

Here in NYC, it will be 79 degrees on Halloween! The weekend is supposed to cool down. Crazy weather!

Cold front finally coming through Albuquerque tonight and it's very windy and cold. Tomorrow's high, 57° but yesterday's high was 84°. Hottest October on record.

Supposed to be around 80 during the day here on Thurs. in PA. and around 70 for trick or treat night.

Same here in my neck of the woods. DH and I were out Saturday and Sunday. It was a beautiful during the day but got quite chilly into the evening. Monday, I never left the house so I expected the same kind of weather to continue. We were up super early yesterday to pick up our daughter and son-in-law, to drive them to O'Hare. I dressed in jeans, a tshirt, and a flannel, plus I brought an Irish poncho along just in case. When we left the house at 3:00AM it was quiet, calm, and a balmy 66*. I checked the forecast and it was supposed to get to 80*! Obviously, I should have checked it beforehand. 🤦‍♀️ We're caring for their pets while they're away. Since one of the pets is a dog, we're spending the days there and coming home at night. They live too far for either of us to drive back and forth multiple times daily. DH can work from their dining room table. I've already checked the forecast and we will dress smarter today.

It is 72 degres this A.M. and a Snow Watch is on for tomorrow in 24 hrs. 2 to 4 inches. Up North, South of Duluth, Mn. The ground is warm so it won't stay. Snow happens now and then on Halloween. Neighbors were out walking last night savoring the nice temps,

Upper 70's for Halloween. Slight chance of rain in the morning, but should be clear for trick or treating. Then drop down in the 60's.

sorry...but you cool wearther sound wonderful to me. I live in Phoenix. Finally this week our high's are in the 70's. Last week it as in the 90's. It has been a horrible hot summer. record breaking. The end of September it got to 117. Even in October we were over 100 andbut mostly in the mid to high 90's.

So I am loving the 70's now and finally cooler. I don't like the heat...And no I can't move because of family.

I'm just east of you. It's crazy. It was 75 at 5:30 yesterday morning and reached 84 in the afternoon. It's 73 now (10/30 6am). We're supposed to have storms with high winds later today and tonight.

I looked up the NOAA forecast for winter. You and I are in the range for some higher temps than usual this winter.

In Arizona we went from the low 100's straight to the 70's. It's 46 this morning and it feels great. So happy summer is finally over. We might even get some rain later this week. Yippee.

I'm bustin and so happy because it's gonna be 80 tomorrow here in SE MD and in the high 60's at night. Porch weather and beach weather. This warm front will be with us for at least another 10 days. And no rain since June and while I'm just fine with that, this is a rural area and the farmers are struggling. Burn bans all over the state, so we can't light the firepit on these beautiful nights.

It's been chilly and windy and grey and have had at least 3 pineapple expresses push thru where I live already---PNW in Wa state. Temps in the 50's maybe a few 60's daytime and in the 40's at night. Even snow in the mountains too.

I love this warm weather here in PA. It's around 80 degrees.

I hate cold weather with a passion and it can hold off for a little while longer as far as I am concerned.

Our fall has been disappointing, The leaves just turn brown and blow off the trees...there is hardly any color. It's been like this for a few years now.

My marigolds are in their full bloom and glory...yeah.

The weather forecast says 60 degrees and above for the next two weeks...no rain in sight. We could use some rain.

We are at 81º right now here in NE Texas and had enough rain at lunch just to smear the dirt on my car instead of washing some off. We are only looking at lows at night for the next 10 days in the mid '60's and back into the 80's for the most part each day. Maybe by the 2nd week of November we will have at least long sleeve days, for sure not sweater weather.

Finally, glorious rain in Lincoln, NE throughout today! We've been in a draught for so long, this is such a welcome relief. A couple of nice days and then more rain is expected . . . so happy with the forecast.

It seems so odd, I remember trying to wear a winter coat under my costume when I was a kid, and it often rained too. Tonight is our Halloween parade in town, it is 73 degrees right now but at least it's dry, that parade is soooooo long-at least 3 hours! Four or five times longer than the Christmas Parade...
