I'm having this built for my yard. Tired of those little cheap things you buy and the TX wind blows them down as soon as you set it up. My neighbor has one and I'm gonna get me one. 11ft.

Just Tx. way of decorating. Not as bad as Arizona, but, we don't get much rain . So just the real green areas that the sprinkler hits ever turn green.

I've seen people decorate with big boulders (I got 2)

Some put driftwood in their yards. Due to the horrible winds if it isn't nailed down it's gonna blow to kindom come.

In this picture, one time, I had the neighbors big sheet of his roof blow over one time and I had to pay somebody to haul it off.

He's a farmer and located way beyond that fence and the wind carried it over to me !

@SharkE. Must be a local thing. I've never seen windmills in Texas yards. I did have a big red rock in my front yard when I bought the place but had it moved to the back yard.

You have what the winds will let you. I'm in country suburbs in the cul de sac..

I tried those QVC yard ornaments that lasted maybe in a good day till the next day. House next to me don't have nothing. They both work and not gonna mow around stuff and pay for stuff that gets torn up.

Stupid shark thought she was gonna have forsynthia bushes, pretty pink flower shrubs, etc. Boy, I was gonna show these plain jane neighbors what landscaping was all about.

During the cold weather all I had planted got ate down to the root. Might as well thrown that money to the wind and watch it fly. I learned my lesson. I upped my game and started investing in what I knew wind couldn't move unless it's the 2nd coming and a higher power would have no trouble.

Man, is gonna take 2-3 wks to build out of red cedar wood. I'll post U a pic.

My friend who is a copycat wanted one when I showed her a pic of my 11 ft windmill.

I sent her that little pic and told her she could have

that one. It wouldn't last as long as a snowball in hale down here.
