Fall has Landed!

We just returned from a few days in beautiful Breckenridge CO. Leaves have changed and are still hanging in there. No major storms so they're lasting a bit longer than some seasons. 60's & 70 temps, perfect

Thank you and yes those are our famous yellow aspens found in the mountains.

We have aspens here also in the metro Denver area, elevation about 5280', a mile high. However Breckenridge is 9600' above sea level and the aspens live longer and thrive better in the mountains at the higher elevation.

Beautiful! We have a lot of colors here now. Reds, oranges and yellows.

Drove this afternoon to my father's in Maryland, through Delaware and back into New Jersey. We live by the beautiful Atlantic.

I don't think there's one state that isn't beautiful at this point!

Fall, when everything dies, it looks pretty for a minute then it’s grey and brown. Then hurray, winter! Cold, nasty and blah.
I am definitely for spring and glorious warm, hot summer when things bloom and thrive!

Down in the Denver area we are still in the high 70's low 80's. Hopefully, this weekend will cool down. Leaves are pretty all over Colorado.

There are human traffic jams on some of the mountain trails here in Colorado. The locals can't stand it....the cars and people are overcrowding the areas, leaving trash behind and making it an unpleasant situation for many. I can sympathize with the locals. Been in Colorado for over 50 years....sort of a 'native'.
