Unperforated Toilet Paper

Our most recent batch of Scott Tissue does not have perfections to separate the sheets, not sure if the is a new style of a flaw in manufacturing. I find it very strange.

@I am still oxox , that's strange that the paper has no perforations. Maybe, like you mentioned, it's just a glitch or something?

I use the Scott 1000, which is very thin and flimsy, at the recommendation of 2 plumbers. I have problem toilets. I don't even notice if it's perforated as I just tear off what I need. I'll check.

@I am still oxox I also buy the Scott 1000 due to our plumber's advice (per @Kachina624 ). It has no perfs. No need to have them.

We use Scotts as well, works for the septic as well as in the camper tank. IT is perferated, unless there is a change when we open the new that we just got.

I never use one-ply tissue, but yeah, that's weird.

My sister uses Scott TP. When we visited last year it still had perfs. If it didn't have a perf I would not buy it?

How crazy is that. How do they expect you to tear off what you need without leaving it look like ******?

@We rescue cats and @I am still oxox You know what? I just shone a flashlight on my TP (yes, I just did that!), and I think I can detect perforations! Who knew! I tried to pull it so it would tear at the perforations, but that didn't happen.

I pulled out about 18" of my Scott 1000. I couldn't see any perforation, but when I stretched it out with both hands, I could see them.

I also use the one ply Scott TP on the recommendation of my plumber. Just checked and it has perforations. They're just a little hard to see on such thin tissue. Sounds like a glitch if perforations are missing.

I only buy Northern toilet paper. It was recommended by a plumber and I have never had any plumbing problems because of toilet paper. During the pandemic for a time I could only find Scott. It was 1 ply and horrible. I told my husband it was the tp of last resort.

Septic tank homeowner here. The perforations are there, just super faint. If you blink, you will miss it. 🚽

Same here. I normally buy Northern and was horrified by the Scott tissue I had to buy during the pandemic. I live in an old house and have never had plumbing problems due to TP.

Finally! This whole thread had me laughing
but then I started wondering what I was missing.
I like our TP so I'm not missing anything. We

much less TP.

@monicakm I was just thinking about starting a subject about bidets--both stand (or sit I guess) alone and the bidet seats. We are thinking about one. So any advice for me on that subject? Brands? Likes and don't likes? I'd appreciate it!!!!!
