That being free shipping at ShopHq. The banner on the website today says free shipping on orders $75 and up; flat rate shipping charge of $9.99 under $75.

It doesn't surprise me. They are struggling just to keep the lights on. They thought free shipping would boost sales but that didn't happen. It was an experiment that failed. But $9.99 is ridiculous. I can't imagine paying that to ship a $40 top.

I also think they are struggling, it seems they mostly sell jewelry and high end beauty creams these days so I seldom tune in.

So just buying one item under 75 will cost you 9.99 to ship it, that will never fly. They are really headed for trouble.

I think $8.99 or $9.99 is pretty much the price to ship goods now......seems to be the minimum at many places unless they offer free shipping.

I don't think that will make a bit of difference good luck ! I used to shop their site and watch daily about 5 yrs ago but stopped. I did buy a top about a year ago and haven't worn it yet ! I don't watch and don't buy but they will certainly lose more customers with that high shipping cost ! Time will tell.

So, lets say you buy one item in the morning under 75 and you pay the shipping fee, then you buy one more later in the day and it makes your total over 75, will the 2nd item ship for free ?

I would much rather buy another item to reach the free shipping total and put that money towards another item, then put 9 or 10 into shipping fee.

Just got this reply from SHQ CS. I replied and said if you buy an item for approx $30 and add 10 for shipping that is like adding 33% to the price.

I have ordered personalized Christmas cards for several hears from the same organization, I picked out the ones I wanted and completed the order form, the shipping was over $20. I checked out the shipping costs and the more a person spends the higher the shipping, that seemed backwards to me, or am I wrong?

Nope. My friend loves Shophq and shops there frequently. She called customer service and asked that question. The $75 isn't a daily total. It must be in one order to get free shipping. So if you spend $75 you get free shipping. If later in the day, you spend $50, you pay $9.99 in shipping. Excluding items that specify free shipping.
