My hero, my love and the man of my dreams IN my dreams is gone. I will never ever forget him in A Star is Born. Singing Why Me Lord and all of the music he ever wrote and performed. I truly had a crush on him since I was a girl. He leaves a large hole behind but carries his gift to a higher place. RIP

@minkbunny Yeah. I remember that along with our birthdays....we shared a life long abiding love for him. I too am beyond sad. The older we get, the more people who helped form our lives are gone.

Yes, I know that you, MamaWick and I have loved Kris from the beginning (along with millions). I actually am crying and I cannot remember ever crying over a celebrity death. He was part of the soundtrack of my life. My son made me a Christmas gift one year of multiple cds containing every single song Kris was ever a part of - many, many I had never heard.

I agree that the older we get and see our "heroes" passing, it shows us how fragile life truly is.

What a man, what a man, what a man. I too had such a crush on him for as long as I can remember. He had that rugged sexy look about him. I just loved Kris and Barbara in A Star is Born....I've watched it so many times.

@Luvitorleaveit1 I can't remember how many times I have watched that movie. I saw the new one with Lady Gaga and I thought she was wonderful too. But none can compare to Babra and Kris. When she is looking for him in her car and it is so quiet and they reach the rise of the hill and see what is at the bottom there? I get so choked up from sobbing so hard.

A multi-talented and multi-faceted man who lived an incredibly wide ranging life. I always admired him and appreciated his many talents. I'm so sorry to hear of his loss. What an amazing life he led and what amazing gifts he shared with us all.
