Any movement is better than nothing.

My orthopedic doctor mentioned using an leg exercisor. I told him that I had and used the Cubii Jr 2. He stated to sit in a chair that supports my bad back. I told him that if I was using my recliner , I folded a blanket or put pillows behind my back.

He then stated in his opinion the latest leg exercisor seen on tv is better for someone that is very fragile and needs some light movement for better circulation. He stated that the cubii Jr 2 would give a better workout for my legs and lower back and stressed not to over do anything. I first started with 5 minutes work out for 3 times a day. Currently slowly increasing the resistance level and up to 30 minutes per day . Orthopedic doctor stated my goal should be one hour per day.

@MKR14 wrote:

Does anyone own the model Eclipse LegExerciser that moves it for you and what do you think of it?

@MKR14

I own it and love it! I have arthritic knees and it has helped me to bend them when walking. I got used to keeping them stiff due to the pain. I'm able to get 10,000 steps in, in an hour. Although, it's not weight bearing, for me, any movement is better than none! I use setting 3 which is the highest setting. I watch TV or read while I'm doing it. It goes very quickly and stops automatically when you reach 10,000. I have the newest model with the mat and foot straps. I don't use the foot stapes. I haven't needed them. I got mine from the Legercise website. It was a bundle and they have the best return policy than any place else I looked. It's light weight, easy to carry and easy to assemble. I had a Cubii jr. that I got from the Q. I gifted it to a friend. I never used it. It's very heavy and cumbersome. It was hard for me to lift it when I needed to move it. Also, I could never read or use my cell phone while on it. I don't know why but the movement for me just wasn't smooth enough. With the Eclipse, it's easy! You can also use it manually if you like. It has really helped my legs and knees feel better! Good luck with your decision!😄 btw, I'm 70.

Starpolisher- Thank you. I am cleared to use this after I get a special ABI test on my right leg next week. The last few months they have run several test to see why my leg is warm but feels ice cold to me inside. I also get very lightheaded when this is happening.They are doing the ABI to see if there is a blockage. They will measure the blood pressure in the ankle and on my right arm (at the same time)as they do the test and will use a portable handheld CT to run the results there too. I had a test for my artery blood flow and it is fine. The ABI test is to do the deep inside views for blood flow. I always have numbness and a sense of lightheaded mess when this gets worse. I have never heard of an ABI as not many places do this in our area. I have to travel 50 miles to get it. If all is all clear to buy this Exclipse I will.

I can't comment on the machine you are mentioning, Iv'e not heard of it, but I myself just ordered a good mini trampoline/rebounder. Iv'e been wanting one for a while. Iv'e heard they are good for arthritis, and extremely good for lymphatic movement/drainage which helps with a host of a lot of other things. If you get the Eclipse, I hope it works well for you, and let us know.

Yes that was me! My grandson just retired from the Air Force and him and his wife just moved back from Idaho to NY State and was looking for exercise equipment. I gave him the Chair Gym as part of what they were looking for.

I always think of you when I see your posts I smile. The Chair Gym was awesome. I loved it for my waist.
I have to wait until my testing is done on my leg and then get back to exercising. I used to walk twice a day but when the weakness in my leg and dizziness started I had to stop. I walk all over the house all day for now.
I just had surgery in July for a tumor removed near my lung. No cancer so my leg will find a solution soon, I hope.
Nice to see your post. I forgot we just become Great Great Grandparents with a little adorable baby named Chloe.💕
