I lost two friends who were Port Authority Police Officers on that awful day. They gave their lives while trying to save others. Never forget! 💙

I watched the reading of the names this morning. For the 23rd time. Young people saying names of relatives they never got to meet, whether it's a grandparent, parent, aunt or uncle. Seeing their faces with their age at time of their death ...

In 2001, I was working in the Risk Management department of a major consumer products company. The company's insurance brokers were Marsh & McLennan. Two of Marsh's employees worked closely with my department: Kevin Murphy and Timothy Reilly, both age 40. They both worked at the Marsh offices in the World Trade Center, Tower One. Sadly, Kevin Murphy and Timothy Reilly perished there on 9/11. Two wonderful gentlemen with their lives ahead of them.

In Memory of Kevin and Tim, and all the lives lost in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. We will never forget.

I taught a young man in my class who wore a FDNY cap every single day to school in honor of his uncle who served and was lost in 9/11.
