Waggoner's Chocolates is missing from their site. Sad.

I have a See's down the street and can buy it anytime. I love them.

We had a See's for a short time. That is a good brand name to add to their shows. Is Waggoner gone for good or just because it was summer? They don't do shows or ship in summer.

See's opens pop up shops in the Atlanta area around Thanksgiving and they stay open until Christmas Eve or until they sell out of candy. I look forward to this every year. I hope they continue this. See's is great candy.

I usually love chocolate, but this is the only company's chocolate I don't care for. I've tried them several times though.

I wonder if they're replacing Russell Stover? Last I heard the company was having problems. They closed my dearly beloved outlet store in Colorado.

I love the dark chocolate covered almond clusters!

I've known many seniors (who lived very, very long lives) who loved their See's dark chocolates.

It always seemed to me that chocolate made them 'happy'.

I don't know if there are any scientific studies re: chocolate and longer life, etc.

When I was a youngster, I recall very, very large dark chocolate bars with almonds. Could have been Hershey's, but I'm not at all sure.

Those relatives lived very long lives, too.

Well, let's wish good health to all, no matter what. Chocolate or no chocolate.

Sees is also offered online. So easy to ship to friends and family for Halloween, Christmas, and Easter. Excellent quality.

@Kachina624 Hadn't thought of Russel Stover in years. Was always available at any discount place here in Colorado. I don't think they could compete with better quality candies.

@ROMARY Interestingly, I just watched an educational program on PBS last night on brain health with dark chocolate one of the strongly recommended food items.

Yes, there are many health benefits from eating dark chocolate, as long as we do so in moderation due to caloric content. But, it needs to be plain dark chocolate, not filled with caramel, or other sweet centers. Some nuts are okay.

If you Google dark chocolate, you will find a long list of healthy benefits. For a few years, now, I've had a small serving daily. I knew there were benefits, but there are even more than I realized.

We buy a pound size bar of 72% dark Belgium chocolate very reasonably priced from Trader Joes, eat one to 2 squares daily.

i wonder if pricing is going to be any better than purchasing from their website? no SEES in maryland.

right now their chocolates are $32/pound.

they make the best peanut brittle also.

Since it's premiering at 11:00am it won't be the Today's Top Value but I do hope they have event pricing.

I use to enjoy their toffee and their molasses chips.

They moved out of my area. I don't think they even have the pop-up kiosks at the mall during the holidays.

I never think to order from their website...out of sight, out of mind, plus it's not something I need to purchase. But do plan to check ShopHQ. I hope they can help their bottom line.

@brandiwine. They had a huge supermarket-size outlet store in Montrose next to their factory. It was always the highlight of a trip to. Colorado. Closed 3 or 4 years ago.

I buy from See's every year at Christmas. I always give my brother a pound of chocolates for Christmas. We always had chocolates at Christmas and See's is my contribution to our meal. I love their dark chocolate.

I've heard of See's but never had it. I've never seen it in my area. I'm always willing to try new candies. 😉 Maybe I will buy some.
