Any gadgets you want to share?

I know the following "Egg Gadget" seems silly, and I'd never buy or use it, aside from not eating eggs. But it intrigued me, as something somewhat innovative.

I just had to try to figure out how this Unique Egg Gadget worked.

(Don't forget - Pls try to post some of the following posted Gadget's ID info, so those other ppl interested, could also buy it for themselves Thx)

@I am still oxox Yeah. Go figure someone adapted this for delicate eggs. And figured out only a 7% slope.

I dont know the slope of the dropping Soda Cans.

I am so grateful everyday for a long grabber tool! I am not even 5-ft and I cannot reach the bottom of my front loader washer to grab the clothes. I also have a hard time grabbing certain items from higher level cabinets and once again the grabber tool does the job. I have some bone and orthopoedic issues and cannot always climb on a chair or stool so this tool has become indespensible to me.

@nova --I am a grabber kind of girl too--got mine when I broke my ankle and was in a wheel chair for several weeks--that thing was the best thing ever--mine folded up so I could take it with me too. It still is located in my kitchen so I can get it easily and I do use it mostly in my kitchen but everywhere I need extra reach!

I bought something like the following magnetic below doo-hickies that stick on my Fridge with magnets. I love it, incl & esp the Paper Towel Rack.

There's numerous of these to choose from on that site.

I love my grabber tool! I got one when my shoulder was broken and I could not raise my right arm. It's great for not only up high but also to get things that fall under or behind something. LOVE it.!!

Magnifying glass with a flashlight, could not live with out it.

@nova I, too, depend on my grabber tool. I also use stainless kitchen tongs as they have semi serrated "jaws" that make it easier to grip some items.

@JoyFilled Warrior I have one of those traditional paper towel holders and it seems the paper towel manufacturers have started shaving a little off the width of paper towels making the holder pretty much worthless. Now, if it's got a rod that goes through the tube like toilet paper holders, it might be worthwhile.

They are handy for pulling out the rack on countertop ovens. You probably don't need 2, so one for you and one for a friend. Sorry I don't know how to post a pic.

I purchased this on a Lunchtime Special for 13.99. It's a package opener and a mini opener. Amazon carries it too. I was using scissors to open packages, so this is a nice replacement.

@JoyFilled Warrior I just bought a Clorox grout brush set from Target to use not only on the grout in my shower but it looked like it would work to clean out the corners in the window sill track of my windows. I've struggled with getting a wet paper towel in them to clean the dust and dirt out. Well, I tackled this yesterday and it was a success. Best $7 I've spent in a while, lol.

Don't forget handy extendible back scratcher to put in purse for grocery shopping!!!! Im short and have short arms as well no one around when you need item top shelf so out comes my stainless scratcher and get most anything way back on the shelf. my daughter saw me use it and she got her one and laughs when she uses hers.saw one woman with a grapper tied on her belt but I don't one to hit me everytime I take a step.

Grabbers are fantastic, I'll look for the one which can fit in my ourse.

Often I use long and wide spatulas to help getting items from a shelf.

Extra long shoe horns!

I have problems with my left knee and leg, without the xtra long shoe horns I wouldn't be able yo wear a right AND left shoe.

Not to hijack this thread but in addition to gadgets if we could expand alternative uses for items, such as @Alsace Gal mentioned in her post about the shoe horn, we might learn we already have problem solvers on hand.

@pattiewaddle I have, on occasion, "borrowed" a pair of tongs from houseware section of grocery, used the tongs to retrieve item that I could not reach and then return it to said houseware section. Sometimes the tongs are attached to the packaging with twist ties that I have removed, used the tong, and reattached to packaging.

I also love the grabber. I keep one in the house and another in my garage. I use the one in the garage to pick up litter in my yard.
