well illinios had a few nice days of low humidity and decent temps.unfortunetly,I had to turn on the air before it got to sticky inside.Very nice while it lasted tho

We've had a nice stretch of lovely days here in SW Michigan. I just turned the A/C back on when I got home from the golf course as it was 78 in the house. Every time I turn the A/C off and open my windows, my strange, nosy neighbor starts telling people that she thinks my A/C must be broken, but I can't afford to get it fixed (neither is even remotely true). She's a very, very odd duck.

@ellaphant, our19 y/o dgd is stationed in the Navy at Virginia Beach, VA. She went into the NAVY at 18 years old as soon as she graduated from HS. She is in for 6 years and is supposed to be in VA Beach for three years. It looks like a nice place.

@Desertdi I can't imagine! You must long for cooler temps.

I swim every morning in the lake. Lately it is cooling ... 13C, 55F. After a 40 minute swim it gets cool. The water is warmer than the air at these temps.

We have had the best stretch of cooler temps this past week in SW PA. 77-82 and 50's at night. It does seem too good to be true. I love these temps.

My area of WV has been in the low to mid 70's this week; very comfortable.
