Actually I shouldn't say advanced order. It is a waitlist but when I checked out yesterday it gave me the advanced shipping date of about 9 or 10 days from
now.

Okay this is weird. I just checked my orders and the item it said it could not cancel now shows as being cancelled. So I reordered it with free shipping.

I think it's kind of a dirty trick as the know we just spent the weekend gorging ourselves on the fashion clearance and VPH. I wont be buying anything and wish I could cancel some orders.

@Kachina624 - I kind of feel the same way. What I ordered yesterday was for a friend who has some surgery coming up, so I've set it up to be shipped to her.

But to find out that had I waited a few hours I'd have saved the shipping (plus tax on it in my state), had me checking to see if I could cancel it and reorder. Nope! Amazing how fast they can be putting something into process, when an order I placed on July 16th took a week to go into process and over two weeks to get to me.

Not interested in ordering anything else today unless something really great comes up. And for pretty much the first time, when free S&H is offered, a number of things in my wish list have gone up in price. So I won't be ordering anything from there either.

(Laughably, an order I placed on the 7th is still "in process" and can be cancelled, but I had a discount on that one and it was free shipping anyway!)

Certainly not all of us spent the weekend "gorging ourselves with fashion clearance and VPH." I've shopped here since 1986 --the beginning-- and have never bought any VPH and I didn't buy anything over the weekend. Perhaps only the true QVC addicts did what you describe. I don't think free shipping today is a "dirty trick" and I think I'll take advantage of it.

Hi @QVC_Lovers.

The ole QVC Customer Svc Reps were generous & would give a adjustment in the amt of the S&H if the purchase was so close to, say, a Free S&H offer.

Might be worth a try to call Q Customer Svc, see what they say about QCredit, Credit, or Refund where your charged S&H was so close of offered time.

They can't in my opinion announce ahead of time they'll be free S&H could you imagine how crazy online purchases and phone orders would be. I put items in my cart that aren't on the edge of selling out.
I ordered V.P. TSV pumpkins in Russet yesterday. It was the first color gone so I have no problem paying shipping
Better than missing out. I also order the small Pip Berry Tree which also sold out. I ordered a Kim Gravel top today and earrings that were in my cart, I'm happy to get free shipping on these two items.
