Even the deer prefer to relax and rest in this hot weather. Snacks and water are nearby, thanks to the Wick's. It is a peaceful environment, why not have some lazy time!!!! The visitors know their safe space.

Seeing the deer at rest are some of my favorite pics. It's so rare to ever get to view any like this...except at the Wick house of course. I love ❤️ they trust you enough to be so at ease.😃❤️❤️

If it is anywhere near as hot there as it is here today (scorching), I don't blame the beautiful bucks and the deer for taking a restful respite from the heat.

Beg to diifer. Seen just today, in Glendaugh Ireland at an ancient Monastic park, posted in the mens room where everyone visiting has a few moments to read. No wildlife management expert will agree with domesticating wildlife. Enlightenment is available from respectable sources on the web through simple google search. Starting with one's State Natural Resources Department often will snawer any questions one may have.

Looks like the deer are conserving energy in the heat. Meanwhile, Willow is teaching her stuffie a lesson to behave, lol. Can't tell what that stuffie is. A bird maybe?
