We are getting Bombarded with rain !

Here in the St. Louis area and across the river into IL it's pouring and there has been flash floods, people trapped, tree branches down etc. The weather service has issued a flash flood warning until 3 pm. Some areas have had 6-7 " of rain.

The regular TV programs have been interupted with the weathermen and women giving details of the floods etc.

I went out to the grocery store earlier when it was just a light rain but before I could get back it started pouring and I had to put my wipers on full because of blinding rain ! Woo! I got soaked trying to get groceries inside while holding my umbrella up ! Stay safe everyone who's affected or who will be as it's coming your way !

The weather in Upstate NY has been insane. We just had our third tornado warning today. We had two last week because of this humidity. It got scary and my phone was going off to take shelter. I went in the basement immediately, It has blown over and no damage but more north east there was a lot of damage. I do hope this is the last of it.

Oh, please stay safe. I had no idea there were areas that were getting so much rain. I cut my cable a couple years ago and rarely watch news, especially now. Hope y'all dry out soon to a safe level. We've been in drought status here in SC for months, everything is drying up and turning brown. We get a short rainfall about once a week but, with our near 100 degree temps, it dries up when the sun rises. Take care, @Goodie2shoes

This southern end of WV is extremely dry; yards are brown and every nearby county is cautioning people about fire risk. Fires are being started by hot lawnmowers after people mow their weeds and let the mower sit on a dry lawn.
