Alex Baldwin Case

The judge has just dismissed the Alex Baldwin case because the prosecution failed to reveal information to the defense.

Thanks to the incompetent district attorney, the whole case has been a fiasco and an embarrassment to the State of New Mexico.

Before anyone claims he got special treatment that is a major violation and standard procedure. They just reported on my local news that one of the prosecutors actually resigned

The judge dismissed the case with prejudice, meaning it cannot be brought again.

@Greeneyedlady21. The person who resigned was a previous special prosecutor who. I believed resigned before the trial started so they hired a second person. The DA's office couldn't even try their own case but had to hire special people.

@Kachina624 good he should of never of been put on trial in the first place, obviously someone was out to get the woman that was killed and more than likely that person is already in jail, just a poor hit gone wrong- now everyone should just move on for the woman that died and remember the things and accomplishments she left instead of trying to find a scapegoat - I do not believe this has hurt New Mexico, it is a beautiful state with lots to do

@arizona babe. Actually, from what was said earlier, the ammunition that was used came from a company in Albuquerque and it appears that there was some live ammo mixed in with the blanks so it appears, that it was carelessness on the part of this supplier. but can't be proven,

Not the same one. CBS Evening News just reported that it was the prosecutor who called herself to the stand today to try to explain the ammunition that was not disclosed. She resigned this afternoon.

What a show that was! The prosecutor could not have done a worse job. Dismissed with prejudice means Baldwin walks and cannot be tried again.

Good. I have always thought it was a vendetta against Baldwin with nothing substantial to back it up. I got my wish- the trial was over quickly.

I have a feeling Alec Baldwin will have the best sleep of his life tonight.

This is confusing. I heard it was special prosecutor Erlinda Johnson who was working with Kari Morrissey that resigned while court was in session today. I'm not sure why Kari Morrissey would resign considering the case was already dismissed. She no longer had anything to resign from.
