Move over Ariana Grande, Kylie Jenner, and Jennifer Lopez because there is a new celebrity beauty brand in the works. King Charles is joining the slew of A-listers to create fragrances, and if smelling like an elderly British monarch with unimaginable riches is of interest to you, then the king's new scent is right up your alley.

Well, it's actually Truefitt & Hill who have launched this fragrance for men, not King Charles (it sounds lovely, IMO).

Here's more about it:

The description is:

Top notes of citrus and cypress essence
Middle notes of lavender and copaiba balsam

I wonder if that is one of his paintings on the bottle. He is an accomplished art in oils.

The bottle and the packaging are beautiful. Charles has some lovely landscapes and paintings of Balmoral and other castles.

Oh my goodness. I'm sure King Charles and Camilla are part of this since their names are integrated in the promo (there would have to be laws about how their names are used, etc). Well, I think this is SO "2024 ." Nothing wrong with doing it....the monarchy is just a PR, money-making entity for England, so more power to them and good ole capitalism. William on a scooter and Charles selling his fragrance. Maybe the monarchy is becoming modernized, after all.

This is Highgrove his estate, and I suspect those are the scents of his natural herbs and essence that he grows, not a King Charles perfume.

"The fragrance of the collection instantly evokes the charm of Highgrove Gardens with notes of the essence of cedar at its very heart. The delicate top notes of cypress and lemon gently combine with a hint of lavender, a twist of papyrus and a delicate trace of vetiver to complete the palette of this enduring fragrance."

I would love to know what it smells like, the question is why the need to belittle this product?

The monarchy and King Charles aren't selling this or making money from it. However, 10% of the profits are going to the charity King Charles founded. Just as many things in this country are sold, with a percentage benefiting a chosen charity.

The connection to King Charles and Camilla is the name of their home: Highgrove. That was chosen by the company manufacturing and selling the range of items in this collection.

@Tinkrbl44 - Maybe your thread title could've more accurately stated who launched this new fragrance. It isn't King Charles or anyone connected with the Monarchy.

Despite Instyle's gossip page, it's Truefitt & Hill. But for Instyle, King Charles's name sells more copy. And maybe more men's cologne. At least the charity benefits.

This as nothing to do with smelling like an Elderly British Monarch but the Estate of Highgrove. No different than the fruits, flowers or musk woods smell like in many women's perfume or sprays you may have in your own home.

This morning I watched some of the UK news and said this will be another product sold to give to chairity's in the UK.
