Peace Love World Vendor

Not very familiar with this vendor, not a buyer of her line but watching her with Shawn it seems she goes off topic quite a bit. They were selling pants and she went off topic talking about Shawn's podcast. I saw her last night with Amy for the TSV and she kept going off topic. Big talker !

Yes she does go off on tangents. I am okay with that as so many vendors just say the same thing over and over and over. That being said, the Peace Love World woman just is not my cup of tea, so to speak. I have never ordered any of her clothes, though they look nice.

I think her fashions are lovely and I like her as a vendor. Going off topic isn't a problem with me, I think she is a talented designer. Just my opinion.

I like Alina and PLW. I got the TSV in Oat. I think that often you can see the difference between when the owner and creator of a brand presents their items, and when a paid professional spokesperson represents a brand.

My opinion is that Alina is most likely a "free spirit" from the West coast and presents fashions with a decidedly "beachy" flair!

This suits my tastes just fine!

I remember my first pair of jogger pants that I purchased from PLW. I believe they were part of a "beach collection" and there was a hoodie too.

At the time I liked the colors so well that I remember paying what I thought was a high price.

But that was the best fabric ever...they felt cool and never showed wear. Was the style "Emy"?

A color I did end up with is "parchment", a pale pale yellow.

My opinion is that Alina really knows her "stuff". She knows styles and fabrics and seems to take pride in what the brand offers.

She seems to be short, but wears the flowy long pants and jackets beautifully.

@LTT1 I agree! Everything that I have ordered from PLW has been excellent quality. I have a few pairs of her wide crop terry and they look as good as the day I got them. There is no pilling at all.

Last night, Alina mentioned she was on Shawn's podcast, which you can listen to if you'd like to learn more about her. I saw the final TSV appearance last night, and she talked about how her family had to flee from Cuba and how she developed her fashion sense because her family could not afford new clothes.

The mean comment about her was unnecessarily harsh.

I love PLW, and I enjoy Alina in small doses. I have so much of her stuff and it still looks great, the construction is amazing, and the fabrics are wonderful.

I try, I really try to watch Monday nights, but I can't. I cant stand the walking around the set, looking in the mirror, which is opposite the camera, talking about someone's pool. In the meantime, none of the stats on the item for sale is being told.

Agree with not caring for all the scattered program offered by Shawn on all her shows . Does she get distracted or just acting ? We as customers loose out on the info we need to buy an item.

Of course, Shawn is using QVC sales format to advertise her podcast . Seems she only has QVC vendors on her show . Doesn't she have any other friends/acquaintances.

Good for Alina, in making it as a designer on a nationally broadcast shopping channel. It's a tough competitive world when it comes to selling one's fashion designs.

i just got into her clothing recently and everything so far has been really nice quality!!!! her lined denim blazer is an A+++++++.

i think she is 'herself' on air, which i love. i can appreciate when she loses her train of thought b/c to me, its all not rehearsed. she gets herself back on track, so all good in my book.

don't we all make mistakes. imagine being on LIVE TV and never having a faux pas.

i would rather see 'senior moments' then have a 'robot' describing items. and yes, i much rather have the designer than the ambassadors.

she is one of my favs now that Laurie Felt is gone

She is not my favorite vendor, too much chit chat. She's probably the only garment vendor at QVC from whom I've never bought a thing. I don't care for affirmations on my clothes and sure don't need a sweater for our 100° heat.
