This referred to Prince William, who celebrated his 42nd birthday at the June 21 concert: "Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start." "M8" is an internet (or texting) shorthand for the British parlance "mate," meaning a good friend.

Prince William was spotted at Wembley dancing his heart out while watching Taylor perform.

It looks like everyone had a blast.

I love these pictures and have also seen the video clip of William dancing to Shake it Off. How excited George and Charlotte must have been to see the concert. You can see their excitement in the pictures. And also William.

@Happy2BHere - I read today that at this event, William had done whatever he was supposed to do and he said he thought he could then relax. Taylor was sitting next to him, touched his arm and said come on, let's go sing. And he said something like when Taylor Swift looks you in the eye and tells you to go, you go.

They all seem so excited. I know they wish their mom could have been there. But how nice of William to continue taking them fun places and doing fun things. It's a shame little Prince Louis could not have been there. He would have been cutting a rug. He steals the show wherever he goes. I know he is too young but maybe he can see a concert with Taylor when he gets a little older.

I was impressed to read that she makes generous donations to food banks at every stop of her Eras Tour - and does it quietly!

I read a funny comment about Charlotte meeting Taylor - "Her Grandfather is a King, her father is a Prince, but meeting Taylor Swift...priceless!" Charlotte does look thrilled, and a lot like Queen Elizabeth in the second picture (JMO).

It's obvious to me why you don't like her, it's the same reason others don't like her. As soon as I saw this thread I knew that would come out.

I like Taylor for her lyrical writing talent. Her voice is okay. As for character she is very charitable (easier to do w hen loaded) and is very good to fans. I don't like throwing most if not all her exes under the bus in her songs. She does engage in middle school mean girl drama too much for my liking. I think she filled a void in her music that was sorely missing for young women. My confusion is her lyrics seem very young women appropriate and not appropriate for kids. So why are so many parents bringing 9 year olds to her concerts? Now that isn't Taylor's fault. I just don't get it.
